{ Technique Tuesday All Stamping Tech challenge and CR84FN 21 }

Pretty easy challenge this month...Teri challenged us to make a project using NEW stamps. I used Card Patterns sketch #108 and CR84FN 21 color challenge for my card: Garnet, Chartreuse, Cream.

I stamped Harlequin Harmony with VersaMark on music note background and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I sprayed Hermit the Frog Shimmerz Vibez and Apple Glimmer Mist over the top to get the Chartreuse background.
I added a little border with the stamped tag from Sweet Somethings stamp set.

For the sentiment I filled the border with glue and added glitter to match the pretty Prima flowers.

I hope you have time to check out all the inspiration or join our challenge: Use Your Newest to win some Technique Tuesday stamps.

In other news...our Live With Prima on Thursday night was so much fun. I want to thank all the ladies that came and took the class before the show. Thank you for joining us during the live show and for tunning in afterwards. . If you missed it you can watch it HERE.

{ Mojo Monday 183, CR84FN20 and Live With Prima }

This color combination was calling my name because I had little purple and green paper pieces laying around my desk from another project. CR84FN 20: Plum, Lavender and Green. I used Mojo Monday 183 sketch.  Here is my card.

The beautiful paper is Romantique from Sweet Fairy collection, Lace and Pearl border, Violaceous flower from Arcadian collection, Annalee journaling note, and a green flower from Madeline collection Essentials 10 --Prima Marketing. I added a chipboard butterfly that I sprayed with Shimmerz Vibez. The sentiment is from a PDF file that we are using for our Live With Prima class on Thursday night. These are great to have around. Just print and cut.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge - anything but a card }

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. Post a link to your creations on our challenge post at Impression Obsession blog. If you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

For our  "Anything But A Card" challenge we are starting to use Inlinkz thumbnail format  for linking your projects. Shirley put together some information for those who are not familiar with that system. You can view it HERE.

I made a little mini album with Remember MC309 stamp set. I used index cards for my base. I had these for some time and I found them at a discount store.  I stamped each one with Cover-a-card Screen CC049 and layered all the other elements.

You can see that the album pages are pretty simple and they have a same formula. A strip of Echo Park patterned paper, stamped die cut, Prima flowers, stamped and cut out leaf,  Doodlebug Design buttons, Elle's Studio label cut outs, photo, Prima lace and Martha Stewart twine.

 I die cut Cover-a-card Roses CC043 stamped cardstock with  Labels One Nestabilities die that I then cut in half.

Elle's Studio label cut outs matched all the index cards perfectly and so did the Madeline collection Prima flowers.

I love the  Silhouette 16 D5566 tucked under those pretty flowers.

Repeated elements tie the pages together and make a very simple and easy little album.

I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designer's blogs for inspiration!
Don't forget to link your projects on Impression Obsession blog.

{ CR84FN Color Challenge 19 }

Just a quick post to share my card for CR84FN color challenge 19

For my card I used Technique Tuesday stamps: Life is Good and Sweet Somethings.

I used My Mind's Eye Stella Rose, Crate Paper and October Afternoon patterned paper. I love these colors and I love digging through my stash to see what I have that will match.

I added little white pearls to the tree. The little blue ticket is from Jenni Bowlin that I folded in half and added a button with floss. The pretty flower is from Prima.

That is all for tonight. Have a great Wednesday!

{ My Mind's Eye Challenge #21 }

I have another layout for you! This one I made for My Mind's Eye sketch challenge #21.  Another pretty awesome sketch.
I used My Mind's Eye Stella Rose collection papers and stamps.  I cut a strip from the doily patterned paper as my red, scalloped border on the right. I loved the left over piece so I used it as one of my strips under the photos. The little trees are from a stamp that I got at Michael's dollar section by Hampton Art.  I felt that I needed a little yellow on each side of the photos. I left the tree stamp out so that I can use it again. Love those little trees.

I stamped the doily with yellow ink and added one of the decorative brads to the center. The butterflies are from Making Memories. I added a little pin and another MME brad.

The quote is from the internet about celebrating today. I typed up the quote in my word document and after it was printed and before cutting up the strips I stamped one of the borders from the Hattie "Remember" stamp set. I love the way that turned out and I will be using it again.

Here is the sketch by Anam Stubbington

Have a great night. I do have a card coming and a cute little mini for our Impression Obsession blog challenge this week.

{ Butterfly Blog Link Party }

My friend Eva Dobilas has arranged a blog link party centered around butterflies!!! I was more than happy to participate since looking at my work I use butterflies on most of my projects.
Today I wanted to share a layout I created using some of my new goodies from My Mind's Eye and Elle's Studio.

 The butterflies are by Making Memories. The yellow one is painted with Jenni Bowlin paint to match some of the colors in my layout. The papers are from My Mind's Eye Stella Rose collection and so are the doily stamps. The little journaling tag and the pennant are from Elle's Studio.

In addition, I wanted to share one of my older cards that I love!

For this card I used Pink Paislee patterned paper, Jenni Bowlin die cut butterfly, Prima flowers for the butterfly antennae and Hero Arts stamps.

Be sure to head over to Eva's blog for her list of links to projects which contain butterflies!!

Have a great Sunday!

{ CR84FN Color Challenge 18 }

How fun are these colors for CR84FN18: Orange, Yellow and Kraft! So fun that I had to play again.
For this cards I used my Impression Obsession stamps.

I stamped the background with Cover-a-card Script CC050 in Pumpkin Pie. I added a little crepe paper ruffle to a strip of pretty patterned paper that I was using as a scrap sheet...I turned it over and it was this beautiful yellow pattern. A really old Die Cuts With A View. The crepe paper streamer is sprayed with Glimmer Mist.
I stamped Cover-a-card Roses CC043 on cardstock and stamped only the outline of the journaling stamp from Journaling I WP165 over that. I used a marker to ink only the edges. When I don't have a marker in the color I want, I just use an ink pad and then I use a towel to wipe the lines inside. See below for photos of this stamp.
 I cut out the journaling spot and added a sentiment from Thanks Sentiments CL41
I used foam adhesive to adhere it to the card. The orange ribbon and yellow flower are from Prima.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
