{ New this Summer from Technique Tuesday }

I hope you have been checking out Technique Tuesday blog for all the new stamps coming out today. I have to tell you that I love them all. I have most of them here and I can’t wait to share what I made with them.

Here is a card created with a set called Life Circles by Ali Edwards. “Life is good” is a card from Story Cards collection. Love them!!!

I added this cute little paper clip to the Story Card before adhering it to the paper base. I colored color magic banner by Heidi Swapp with some ink and tucked it behind the Story Card. I stamped the sentiment from Life Circles by Ali Edwards with the same ink on Martha Steward label.

All the new stamps will be available on the Technique Tuesday website at some point today.

Saturday I spent an afternoon with my sweet friend, Val, scrapbooking at a new store called Every Last Scrap. I haven’t done that in a while. Lots of fun chatting and creating.

We had some yummy food and drinks at Rosa’s Café.

On Sunday I took Alex to a new Micahels store opening here in town. There were lots of fun activities going on all day, including Craft Wars live. I got to meet Jo Pearson, Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza. They were the judges for the Craft Wars event at the store. They had three competitions, all different themes and one winner per challenge. So much fun!

Alex got to meet Miss Glossy.

And we got some free goodies. Those bling, bling tweet cards are $10 gift cards!!!

It was busy all day at the store, but it was fun just to be there and to see it all. Now I have a store that is really close to my house to visit whenever I want.
