{ Impression Obsession DT Challenge–Colors of Summer }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Colors of Summer.

Our challenge starts today, June 20, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, June 26, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between June 20 -26. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

This time I created a layout with some bright summer colors, mixing several different stamp sets.

The background is created with Full Bloom Hollyhocks stamp and new Hero Arts Neon paint dauber. Timmy is the cutest little stamp that reminded me of my son, Alex. I had perfect photos to go with Timmy, Alex eating watermelon, which he does not like.

I stamped Timmy on watercolor paper and colored him with watercolor pencils. I did the same with Party Pinwheels. I used watercolor pencils from Faber-Castell and Koh-I-Noor. They are both very vibrant.

The banner is from This is my country stamp set and I stamped it in three different colors and cut out the pink and turquoise ones to layer over the yellow base.

Little banner tags are from Elle’s Studio and the patterned paper is Basic Grey, Crate Paper and Echo Park, all from Emma’s Paperie.

What do you think? I hope you have time to play and create something for this fun challenge.
