{ Gratitude swap }

Last month I joined a gratitude/stationary wrap swap hosted by Melissa Goodsell. It was so much fun. This was my first time sewing something like this. What do you think? I wanted to do something like SouleMama's wrap, but I am not that good. I had to look up how to do pockets since this was my first time sewing pockets. As soon as I have some time I will sew one for me. I used two pieces of fabric with batting in the middle. It definitively took a little planning since I wasn't sure how to make everything straight, don't laugh, practice makes perfect.

  1. You did a great job on the sew project! I don't even know how to thread a sweing machine! I guess now they are auto threaders! LOL! I tried ealrier to leave you a commnet and had some issues, so I am glad it worked this time!
    My Mom's surprise yesterday went beautfully! SHe just couldn't beleive her eyes, when she walked in the living room and 2 of my daughter and I were sitting there! I will never forget her exoression as long as I live! The trip sadly took a toll on me for the worse. I have been in poor shape all day and I suspect it will be a rough week to gain some energy back and feel somewhat human again! All I can say is I could die tomorrow and it would have been worth it to see my Mom on her 90th birthday! How's the busy pumpkin doing? Is he sleeping any better for you? Off to bed for me! Take care! Hugs, Deb

  2. Oh my, this is just great. I especially LOVE the "notes" notebook! And I just have to say how much I've enjoyed watching your little guy grow up. And that hair. My son didn't have hair until he was almost 2!!! Cherish every moment with him!! TFS

  14. WOW, Daniela, this is one great gift -- I love the pockets and just think of how many times you can take this with you and have everything on hand! This would be great for a Mom who attends all the sporting events (like I did so many years ago) to work on some notes as she snatches a few down moments during halftime. You did beautifully with your sewing, my Friend!
