I really wanted to do a tutorial for this card, but my desk is a mess (see photo below) and I didn't have enough time. Plus, I have never done a video tutorial, and that would have been a total disaster. I need to plan this better.
I was taking a little break so I made this card for 2S4Y # 56. A box of goodies arrived from Impression Obsession . The cards for CHA with the NEW stamps will be shown on Design Team blogs starting July 26.I stamped the background with Cover-a-Card Distressed Corduroy (CC047), first horizontal then vertical. I clear embossed Cover-a-Card Large (CC007) on top of that and sprayed the card with blue Shimmerz spray. I added left over strip of crepe paper streamer to a pink strip of patterned paper that I stitched to the card.
I stamped Butterfly Scene (G1753) on cardstock, cut it out and sprayed lightly with yellow Glimmer Mist. I added a crochet flower that my mom made.
I am giving away this Cover-a-Card Large Dots (CC007) cling-backed background stamp. The stamp is 5.75 x 5.75 inches. Leave me a comment and let me know if you use stamps on your projects. I will pick a winner at the end of the week.
Oh, yes, photo of the only clear space:
What a beautiful card!! The butterfly is so pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteHi - I love the butterfly and I love to use stamps - thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThat stamp is on the way to me, so don't enter me in your drawing, but I wanted to say....this card is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI almost always use at least one rubber stamps when I create ... love that card & love those dots.

Love your card, Daniela, and your work space is almost as clear as mine! Ha!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't use stamps when I first started creating cards. I just couldn't get a good image and got frustrated. Then, with lots of practice, several bottles of Baileys Irish Cream (okay, maybe not all at once) and better quality rubber, I now am comfortable and will stamp anything that doesn't move ... and maybe even if it does move. GRIN. LOVE your card creation, Daniela.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your card it's just gorgeous

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card...I use stamps in almost all my cards, also in scrapbook pages. I use them as the focal point as well as in the background. I use them to make my own paper when I can't find the right style or color I need.
