{ Impression Obsession DT challenge - Metallics }

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. We have challenges every other week - DETAILS HERE - if you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Challenge: All that glistens is not (only) gold --- color challenge... metallics
I wasn't sure how to go with this challenge and then I remembered I had this box of old stuff. In it I found Metallic Foil  paper in all different colors. I can't remember when I bought that.  This might be the first time using it.

 I used Swirl Trees (CL196) stamp set for my card. The base is a strip of Tinsel & Twig from The Girls' Paperie and the I added my foil paper. If you look really close I dry  embossed the foil paper with Cover-a-card Music stamp (CC029). I laid the paper on top of the rubber stamp and rubbed with my bone folder.

 For the ribbon I used a piece of fabric and then I tied a little jingle bell with twine. After I stamped the trees, I cut them out. I used a glue pen to trace the swirls in the tree and applied silver glitter. I did the same thing with the stars.

I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designers' blogs for inspiration!

***Would you like to see your card featured on the Impression Obsession blog? Email your challenge cards using Impression Obsession images to Shirley. Every week, cards will be selected to showcase on the Impression Obsession blog!!!
