{ My Mind's Eye Challenge #25 --- card }

I know, I know, here I go again, but I couldn't resist. I got a new box of Clearsnap ColorBox Premium Dye Inkpads in 12 dynamic colors and I had to try them out.

Here is my card for the card Blog Challenge 25

For the card I used two different stamp sets from Stella Rose collection by My Mind's Eye. The base patterned paper and the calendar note are from Meadowlark Dawn collection. The little pearl brad is from Stella Rose collection.

I started by stamping my base patterned paper with the larger doily stamp with Colorbox Dye Ink in Banana. I  stamped the smaller doily with Colorbox Dye Ink in  Bubblegum. The base patterned paper has faint polka dots on it and I used those as a reference for stamping the doilies. I inked all the edges with Toffee Fluid Chalk Ink.

I used white crepe paper streamer and colored it with River Mossy, Ice Rink (*new*) and Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.  I love coloring white crepe paper streamers and if you follow my blog you have seen numerous projects with crepe paper. I used Sticky Strip Runner by Therm O Web to adhere the crepe paper to the paper base. I add a strip of Strip Runner adhesive to the bottom of the paper and then pleat the crepe paper. When adhering the patterened paper to cardstock make sure you add extra adhesive over the pleats, top only, and run the tape in the direction of the pleat.

This large doily is stamped with Colorbox Dye Ink in Banana on cream cardstock that I cut out. I just love this color.

I used 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web to give this doily some dimension.

I adhered the cabochon flower to the center of the doily with a large Zots adhesive dot from Therm O Web. I apply the flower to the adhesive dot, press lightly, and lift the cabochon from the sheet. These large Zots are perfect size and they cover the whole cabochon base.

I hope I explained everything. Let me know if you have any questions.
