{ Challenge #38: Speech Bubbles }

September kit at Scrapbook Circle, Talk of the Town is sold out! I will share my projects created with the kit for the month.

Inspired by the speech bubbles in the September kit, Talk of the Town, Challenge #38 is to create a layout that features some of these fun shapes. You can find them on the “Think Good Thoughts” paper by Amy Tangerine, on the September Printable, and even in a collection of exclusive Scrapbook Circle die cuts.

Here is a layout I created for the challenge.

Down the slide Daniela Dobson

I cut two speech bubbles from the Amy Tangerine paper – one large and one smaller. The larger bubble became a mat for the smaller one, which she filled with text and stickers. I used the Amy Tangerine stamp from the add-on kit and only inked the words. I cut those out and adhered them on the speech bubble. The speech bubble is adhered with 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web.

We are excited to see what you will do with these speech bubbles! Ready to play? Here’s how:

1. Create a layout that includes speech bubbles. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.

2. Post your album to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to the blog post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted project.

3. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, October 3rd, 9:00 pm Pacific. That means you have three whole weeks to play along.

Have a great day!!!

I am on my way to ScrapFest 2012 in Bloomington MN….if you are there, stop by and say hi at Therm O Web/Echo Park and Simple Stories booth.
