How about this Newsboy Clear stamp by Prima. I stamped the bottom of my card and then stamped some on cardstock to make my own patterned paper. I used Fiskars shape template to cut the scallop strip from the stamped paper.
I heat embossed the butterfly from Lucky Ladybugs stamp set on my card background. The leaves are die cut from Graphic 45 patterned paper and then I cut out some circles and made flowers out of them. I added Basic Grey brads and some buttons. Thank you sentiment is from Mini Messages set.
Come and check out the new Impression Obsession Blog. Shirley is going to be sharing her beautiful projects and techniques.
Here are some cards I made for Embellish-Online.com. I am trying to use up my 6x6 Bittersweet paper pad from Basic Grey . Remember all these projects I did, well, I still have paper left over.
I made this card for Friday Free For All Challenge at Embellish-Online.com. The challenge was to embellish chipboard. I covered my chipboard flower with Stickles. I am using new Marrakech paper by Basic Grey.
It's really cold and rainy around here, I hope it's warmer where you are.
Impression Obsession is having a sale from Friday the 6th through Sunday the 8th. FREE SHIPPING on orders of $30 and more....how awesome is that!
This is my card for CPS 105. I have been playing with Papertrey Ink bitty dots paper...it comes in many different colors. The pink patterned paper is from Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. The 6x6 paper pad I received from Embellish-Online is lasting a long time and I made so many cards and projects. Heidi Swapp journaling note, American Crafts ribbon and Basic Grey button.
Project 365 - week 9.
2.23 - Alex has finally mastered climbing on the couch. He loves to lounge on top of my things. Here, he is having a snack.
2.24 - not sure what is going on here. He went for a walk with daddy. Maybe he is trying to get back into his wagon.
2.25 - out for lunch at a Sushi restaurant.
2.26 - he loves to take stuff out of the pantry, especially now that he can reach the bottom shelf. He found this wine container and carried it all the way upstairs.
2.27 - reading a book before bed.
2.28 - I was trying all day to take a photo of his cute, monkey outfit, and I did, but I loved this photo. Just before dinner.
3.1 - Yes, he is so happy, he mastered a different couch.
Thanks for stopping by. If you are doing Project 365, how are you doing?
I adhered the chipboard heart to patterned paper and cut it out. I wanted it to stand out against the pink paper. I love adding two buttons together for dimension. Here, I used Hemp cord to tie them to the ribbon bow.

I bought these little note pads at a discount store (5 for $1). The cardstock covers front, spine and back. I adhered the pad to the back and embellished the front. These are so simple and fun, perfect for a gift. Michelle Wooderson did Mini Christmas notebooks and I loved the idea. I write things down all the time and have little note pads everywhere.

I made chocolate heart lollipops using Wilton lollipop molds. I wrapped them in cellophane and tied ribbon around the base. I wanted them to look like flowers so I added a scalloped circle, flower and heart beads. I painted the clay flower pot to match the paper. I embellished the top of the pot with scalloped patterned paper, chipboard and buttons. I used Martha Stewart border punch. I used flower foam to hold the lollipops in the pot. I added crinkle paper to cover the foam. Once the chocolate is gone you can use this again next year. A perfect gift for an office or a centerpiece for a party. I used white chocolate mint and my room smells like it!
I added sprinkles to the bottom of the mold before chocolate.

CupCards {to go} kit goes live January 5, 2009. at 6pm PT.
The second card is for CupCards {to go}. This kit goes live on January 5. Check out the blog for more photos.
Look what I found at Target!!!! Shelly posted a photo on her blog of these adorable plates. When I went to check it out they were just starting to put the Christmas stuff away and haven't even started unpacking the new stuff. I went this Monday, to a different store and they had everything. I am in love with these colors and the little owls. The cup is my favorite. There is a little owl sitting on the handle.
Here is my little owl that I made. There is a pattern in Sew Simple magazine that I picked up. I added a string to mine and I am using it as an ornament on my tree. The one in a magazine is made out of fleece and is much bigger. I want to make more, but the hardest part is cutting all the little pieces. Sewing was easy, even the blanket stitch...I was able to find video instructions on how to do it since this was my first time. I really like owls.
What do you think?
I was able to purchase the kit for Project 365 this morning. I can't wait to see it and get started. I am still trying to decide how to share my photos on my blog. I don't know if I can post daily photos, but maybe I can set up a gallery and post my photos there. I started a blog roll on the sidebar for everyone that is doing the project. Let me know if you would like to be added to the list.
That is it for the first day of the year. I spent some time changing my blog, I hope you like the new look.
Have a great night.
