Project 365 - week 27.

6.29 - late Father's Day dinner.

6.30 - Alex is attached to the phone and now the shaver. Daddy gave him his old one without the blades.

7.1 - we made it to the library. Story time and then he loves to play with the puzzles.

7.2 - playing outside.

7.3 - putting on my lipstick.

We took some photos of him at the pond. I love how they decorate the streets and the paths with the little flags. Last year he couldn't walk yet, so this was special.

7.4 - enjoying a popsicle.

7.5 -still in his pajamas watching one of his favorite shows.

For my card I used the Flower Pitcher (F2290). I colored the image with chalk. I painted over my image with Bubble Gum, Golden Wheat and December Sky. The colors are awesome, but so are the names ! I inked the edges, tore the paper, added stitching, buttons, floss and ribbon. The background paper is Amy Butler K&Company. The sentiment is from Express Yourself (WP22) stamp set. I used CPS #123 for this card.

Here is a close up of the shimmer. What do you think? This is my first time playing with Shimmerz.

Outside my window...sun.

I am thinking...how I would love a bath with lots of bubbles.

I am thankful for...my sweet boy who goes to bed without any problems.

From the kitchen...Brisket with baked beans.

I am wearing...cherry pajama bottoms and a t-shirt.

I am creating...finished my Shimmerz card earlier today.

I am going...to get the clothes out of the dryer.

I am reading...August CK.

I am hoping...the clothes in the dryer are not wrinkled.

I am hearing...Alex singing in his bed.

Around the house...toys to put away, again.

One of my favorite things...listening to Alex trying to communicate more and more each day.

A few plans for the rest of the week...pretty much same as last week...park, library, store, park, maybe the pool. I would love to go to the Ikea and get those shelves for Alex's closet so we can organize his toys.

This was my first time working with the clear cards. Adhering paper was tricky, making sure no adhesive shows, anywhere.

For this card I used American Crafts and Heidi Swapp paper. The butterfly is cut from KI Memories lace paper and I added this adorable brad that I got from a sweet friend Chrys. The sticker letters are American Crafts.

This clear sheet I cut in a square. The paper is October Afternoon. I added Heidi Swapp journaling note and then I used my Nestabillities for the scalloped circles (to cover up the adhesive). The flowers are Prima and the little owl brad is by Chatterbox.

I just wanted to share my creations with the July kit from CupCards {to go}. The main kit is sold out, but the Mini Kits are still available. There are TWO pages in DT gallery so make sure you check it all out. So much sweetness. Everything you see here comes in the kit. The only thing I added was the glitter for the butterfly and that came in the February kit. This is my sketch card.
