{ Gratitude Memorydex challenge }

 I wanted to share my #gratitudememorydexchallenge on Instagram. You can follow me there and you can follow the hashtag. I am creating little videos to show how I created each card. I have been participating in another memorydex  Instagram challenge hosted by Damaris @atstudiod and Caroline @caroline_mae_m since January. You can see my original post HERE. In that post I am sharing rolodex cards I created in my Silhouette Studio (freebies).

This is my cover for the Memorydex gratitude challenge. I have gathered various "fall" items from my stash (see below).

I have been creating these little cards and writing down what I am grateful daily. I am getting creative with tucking a journaling tag or card somewhere on the memorydex. I created envelopes in my Silhouette Studio. I had lost of questions on Instagram on where to find these. I am sharing them here. You just need to punch holes at the bottom.

{ Traveler's Notebook storage holder }

 I have designed my own holder for Traveler's Notebooks. I have been subscribing to Studio Calico TN kits and this is my second year. I store TNs in each pouch that they come with, but that just became too much trouble to find and get out. I searched on line for a template of some sort and couldn't find anything. I created my own. I first made one on the right by cutting cardstock. Then, I drew my design is Silhouette Studio and cut out the pieces with my Cameo. I shared this photo on Instagram and got requests to share it. See below for file.

I cut a piece of patterned paper and wrapped it around the base of the one on the right. That required 2 pieces of 12" patterned paper and they overlap. For the one on the left I designed to cut a piece just for the front since that is the part you see. In addition, I have a square pice that fits on the bottom. I used it as a template and cut it out from a heavier piece of carboard to make it more sturdy.

I was able to fit a bunch, however, they are not all full yet. Once they become filled with photos and embellishments I can maybe get six  or eight in. I will see. Totally random width was chosen based on my own preference.

{ MemoryDex by Heidi Swapp revisited }

Hello and happy 2020!

I decided to document my daily life using MemoryDex. I have purchased the MemoryDex spinner a few years ago. I have since created several boxes with cards to use for various projects. I do have the original MemoryDex Desktop Tray Holder by Heidi Swapp. There are lots of videos on youtube on how to create one. There are various free files for the cards and there are ones you can purchase. I have all the MemoryDex dies and I have the punch. I guess I got lucky. This system has been around since 2015. I know that American Crafts produced more of the discontinued items recently. You can find some of the items on Scrapbook.com, Amazon and Heidi Swapp website. 

I am sharing two free files in this blog post. One is the rolodex card and it fits Heidi Swapp system and it fits paper straws (see photos below). The other one is the diamond shape I used for one of my cards created for the Instagram challenge hosted by Damaris @atstudiod and Caroline @caroline_mae_m. I will be sharing my projects on Instagram you can follow me there.

Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheets are available and they are amazing. You can print on them and cut them with your digital cutter.

{ Fashion Themed card for Therm O Web }

Hi and happy Friday. I have a post on Therm O Web blog today and it’s all about dresses. I created a cut file in my Silhouette Studio to make a card in a shape of a dress. I am using Gina K Designs foil mates for the dress. Isn’t it beautiful? Stop by the blog to see more details and download the free file.

{ Deco Foil Flowers }

I have another blog post today using Deco Foil from Therm O Web and printed flowers using my toner printer. I have HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Wireless Laser Printer and whatever I print I can run through my Laminator and add Deco Foil. It’s pretty amazing.

For this card I used Fancy Foils, Foil Mates, Wafer Thin Dies, Premium Cardstock, and Ribbon.

I just love Frederick & Fiona Stamp Set - Animal House - Jan 2017 (shipping 1/15). How cute is that fox? I created some fun new Silhouette Studio cut files that I tried out and used on several different cards (see link below for free file download). Plus, I was cleaning out some of my piles of mess and came across this lovely pink journal card from Elle’s Studio. I thought it went perfectly with the diamond heart cut file.

I colored Frederick with Prismacolor pencils. Trying to use them more. I added a little flower and stamped and die cut bee. I just love this stamp set.

{ CardMaker Blog Post Today – Quick and Easy Cards }

{ July kit from Scraptastic Club and a freebie }

Hi and welcome to my blog. My friend Victoria is doing The Cut File Challenge series on her YouTube channel and I offered to make some cut files for her. We thought doilies were pretty popular so I made a bunch. You can download the cut file below.

Since I test cut several and had them laying around I thought I would create a layout using my July Me Myself and I kit and add-on from Scraptastic Club. I created this layout based on a sketch by Ashley Horton. She is doing a video series with Missy Whidden Stretch Your Sketch.

 

I used two of the similar doilies. It is so fun creating these, the combinations are endless. The messy circles I had laying around, as well, and they are an old freebie I had and you can find it HERE ---> Hand drawn circles. I really loved the stamp set from June that had the “sidewalk masterpiece” stamp and I had to use it with these photos. I added enamel dots from my stash and splattered some white paint on the layout. I added some 3D foam squares from Therm O Web to the photos for dimension.
