Hello and welcome to Die Cut Obsession. We have set aside a couple days to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects! Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today. Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Here is my card. 

These little rainbows have been popping up everywhere so I thought I would give them a try. These are hand painted using my watercolor pencils.  I die cut one of the Postage Cuts from vellum. The flowers are die cut from white cardstock and watercolored. "Thank you" is die cut from patterned paper.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Not So Moody Blues }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Not So Moody Blues.

Here is a card I created.

I stamped the background with Quatrefoil background stamp and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sprinkled the background with Ken Oliver Color Burst in Ultramarine Blue and water.

For the flower tag I stamped Rambling Roses in black ink and colored the image with watercolor pencils. I added  a few scraps under the flower tag that I had laying on my desk, including washi tape and some sewing thread. The sentiment is stamped with Outline Alphabet that I colored with watercolor pencils, as well.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Feathered Friends }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Feathered Friends. My feathered friend today is a bird from Home Sweet Nest stamp set.

Here is my card.

I stamped the background with Starburst Cover-a-card background. Then I stamped the branches with the nest and the bird on watercolor paper and used watercolor crayons to color it all in. Pretty easy and fast. I die cut the scalloped circle that I adhered to the watercolor circle. I splattered pink watercolor crayon over the top. I die cut the banner and stamped it with a sentiment.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Christmas in July }

Hello and happy Thursday. It’s that time again, Impression Obsession DT challenge. Today I am sharing a card that I created with brand NEW stamps from Impression Obsession. This is from our Fall/Winter 2015 release and will be available soon.

How fun is this tree? It is called Graphic Tree. I used watercolor pencils to color it and I added Deco Foil for extra sparkle and shine. The background is stamped with Cover-a-Card Quatrefoil. On top of that I layered our new die from the last release called All-in-One Frames - Rectangles 2. As you can see it is stitched! Love that. The oval is from last release, as well, called All-in-One Frames – Ovals. Striped Banner is an older stamp and I love how versatile it is.

Our challenge starts today, July 3, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, July 9, at 10 PM.

Here is my card.

Say hello to Grace MC448. She is adorable. This is the first time I used this stamp set. When I think of summer I envision these colors, blue, pink and yellow. Plus, Grace is at the beach.
I stamped here on white cardstock and colored the image with watercolor pencils and crayons. The circle frame is a Circle Shaker Frame die. It’s cut from Heidi Swapp resist paper. I sprayed it with Color Shine.

The sentiment is from a different stamp set called Hydrangea Clear Set. I stamped it on a die cut from Mini Rectangle Tags 1 Die Set.

This sentiment is perfect for our challenge today. What do you think? I stamped the flowers from On your birthday stamp set and colored them with watercolor pencils. The white background is stamped with Splatter 2. The little butterflies are from an old set called Butterfly Bliss.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out. I used Therm O Web 3D squares for the sentiment. The pennant is die cut and stamped.
