{ Daily something stamps }

I got several questions about the Observations stamp that I am using on my "Daily Something" challenges. This little thing has been around for a while. It's 7Gypsies - 97% Complete - Certifiable Stamp - Observations. The background stamps are by Impression-Obsession - Solid Florals. I just use different parts of the stamps around the edges and sometimes on the card. The other two, "Original" and "Daily Notes", are from Stampin' Up. I hope this helps. { Daily Something August 18, 19, 20 }

I will be posting these whenever I get them done. I wait until I have several photos to print them all on one page, I don't like to waste. I make the cards ahead of time, when I am watching TV and the when I get the photos I stamp and journal.

{ Michaels stamps }

I finally visited Michaels the other day and I found some stamps I don't have. I don't know how long these have been out because they didn't have many in their dollar bin. I thought they were cute so I got them.

I am having so much fun creating these little things. I like that they are uniform and so little. If you have no idea what I am talking about check out Ali's blog.
On another note, I went to Michaels today and found new clear stamps. They must have been out for a while because the bin was pretty empty. I will post a photo tomorrow.

{ Daily something }

Ali Edwards introduced a project she is working on called "Daily something" and she invited everyone to play. I thought it was a great idea. Create something small everyday. I started on Monday this week.
I am using flash cards that I got at Target dollar section. I am covering them with paper and using that as my base. They are about 3 x 4.5. I think I will punch a hole in the top left corner and use a ring binder to hold all the cards together.

Here is what I have so far.

{ Weekly challenge }

My turn to do a challenge at Create My Keepsake. Make a set of cards with unique closures. I love it because my cards open and close the usual way :) All the patterned paper is Paper Salon from All Stitched up collection.
This first one is a gatefold card. I added some eyelets and ribbon to close this little card. I used SU slit punch for my scallops.
This one is same as above except it's horizontal and I used some round foam adhesive under the buttons so I can wrap fibers for this type of closure. Top flat on this one.

On this one I just wrapped ribbon around it. Pretty simple.

{ Happiness }

It's Sunday night and I have been so unproductive this weekend. Well, in scrapbooking. I have been cleaning and organizing my house, is it too early to start "nesting"?
I did make this card tonight. It took me less than 5 min, maybe a little more because I was trying to make sure the bow was perfect. I got a collection of Doodlebug Design papers last month in my Cards goodie box and I wanted to play with it. This embossed paper is adorable. Ribbon and black flower are from Doodlebug Design, Deja Views rub-on and Prima flower.

{ Di Hickman Card Sketch August 1 }

I just love this sketch by Di Hickman and this paper collection came in my July Cards goodie box. Well, I thought I had my little supply list here, but I don't. I have to go look for it. OK, I found it. Patterned paper is by Creative Imaginations, Anthology Collection, Prima flowers, Heidi Swapp chipboard bookplate, BasicGrey rub-on. I think that the sketches are the easiest way to get some cards done.

{ Happy anniversary my love !!! }

Today is our anniversary. I made this card for my husband and he loved it. KI Memories and Doodlebug Design patterned paper, Around the Block heart, Hobby Lobby Ribbon, Urban Lily rub-on.

We were married 2 years ago, today, on Maui Hawaii. Here are some photos of us. We are going out to Roy's to celebrate. We love the food and it's our favorite special occasion restaurant.

{ Sketch this cards # 20 }

The sketch was so simple you can do anything with it. This is my version. I used American Crafts patterned paper for the manufacturer challenge we had last week at Create My Keepsake. This week is BasicGrey, and I have a ton of that paper to use up. The jewel heart is Heidi Swapp, Prima flower, and Creative Imaginations rub-on.

{ CPS sketch #24 }

I finally made some cards !!!! I had so much fun today. After I made this card it didn't really look like the CPS sketch, but I used the sketch for inspiration. I used all American Crafts patterned paper. We are having manufacturer challenges at Create My Keepsake to use up some of our stash so we can make room for all the new CHA products that are coming to the store. OK, about the card. I cut the flower out from patterned paper, chipboard shape is from Creative Imaginations, Scenic Route rub-on and ribbon.

I am pregnant!!! This is our first baby and we are very excited. Baby is due February 2, 2008.
