{ Nothing to post???? }

I have to start creating. It is so nice to go on vacation, but it takes a while to get caught up with mail, bills, laundry, appointments.... OK, I have not created anything in a while and I miss it.
I did get two boxes of goodies from Paper Crafts and my Card Creations 5 magazine. I recognize so many names in there and I love all the beautiful creations. I did look through it couple of times, but I need to do it several more times just in case I missed anything. I do have two cards published in this magazine.

{ I am back !!! }

It is so nice to be home. It was a long trip and I am going to rest after I post some photos of Kauai.
It's been quiet around here. I will be back to my regular schedule tomorrow...and I will be giving away some goodies very soon.

{ Crafter's Workshop card set }

I made this little set of cards to fit in the little tin box I got at Target $ spot some time ago. It’s a magnetic checkers game set. All the cards are the same design I just changed the papers. All the patterned papers are by Crafter’s Workshop, our DT sponsor this month at Create My Keepsake. I used my oval scalloped Marvy Uchida punch and Scenic Route rub-ons. I covered the tin, inside and out, with patterned paper.

Another card I made using Crafter’s Workshop patterned papers. In addition to the papers I used a doodling template.

{ Christmas in July }

I will not be back until Saturday, but I wanted to let you know about a crop that we are having at Create My Keepsake - Christmas in July Event July 28 - 29. There are going to be 10 different projects and prizes for porjects and random drawings for prizes throughout the day. Sneak peek for all the projects here. { Aloha ! }

I wanted to let you know where I was in case you don't here from me in a while. I am in Hawaii !!! I will post some photos throughout this week. I do have some new cards, but I don't know how much time I will have. It is so nice to relax, a little strange without my daily dose of internet. I miss reading all your blogs. I will catch up whenever I can.

New Impression-Obsession stamps will be available July 23.

{ Thoughts of love }

I made this card using new Impression-Obsession stamps that are going to be available later this month. Isn't he just adorable? After stamping with regular ink I used my soft pastels for color. The white of his hat and the snow at the bottom is Liquid Applique that I got long time ago. I think this is the first time I got to use it. I used my heat gun to heat the applique and it puffs up. It's hard to see in the photo, but the ribbon has strands of glitter and I added some glitter to his hat, scarf, and the star. For background paper I used Frances Meyer, and a glitter scalloped card from DCWV. I used my scalloped scissors to cut around the oval shape.

For the card I used The Crafter's Workshop patterned paper, Heidi Swapp journaling spot, EK Success sticker, Michael's dollar stamp, May Arts ric rac, button and flower from my craft supply.

I made this card today. It was so easy. The pink swirl is cut out from patterned paper. I just love how pink and green look together. Paper flower is Die Cuts With A View, button from American Crafts and rub-on is Scenic Route.
I will have more smaples this week.

{ Party Ensemble }

This little party set made it into Paper Crafts Ladies Only issue this May. I was really excited to see it in print. I used all Frances Meyer cardstock and patterned paper. The little gift box pattern I downloaded from SU website. Flowers are cut out from patterned paper. Basic Grey rub-on and The Paper Studio stamps.
I got a box of goodies today from Create My Keepsake filled with The Crafter's Workshop paper and templates. I will have to play this week.

{ Merry & Bright }

Are you wondering where I have been? I am here, just busy. There were several submission calls that I was working on and still am. You can see all my published work and all upcoming publications under My Resume link to the left. I will be taking a little vacation so I am trying to get some stuff finished before I go.
How about one more Christmas card? New Christmas stamps from Impression Obsession. They will be available July 23. The background stamp, Starry Swirls is available at the store now. SU cardstock, Marvy Uchida scalloped punch and SU slit punch for my scalloped edge.

{ Happy 4th of July }

Happy 4th of July. I made this card earlier in the year for a submission call, but it didn't get picked up. I think it's cute. Paper and stickers are from Doodlebug Designs, KI Memories stars and Darice hemp cord. I did not stitch the paper the patterned paper has printed stitches, pretty cool. I tried stitching once on one of my cards, it didn't work out....I need to practice more.New kit is available at Create My Keepsake - Star Struck. Come and check it out.
