{ 30 days of stamping }

30 days of stamping and cardmaking going on at Two Peas in a Bucket with fun challenges and prizes. Since I love stamps I participated in some of the activities.
Here is a layout I made for a challenge by Nichol Magouirk to use stamped journaling on a layout. I haven't made a 8.5" x 11" since I started scrapbooking many years ago. I made this one, loved it and I haven't stopped. I will share more soon.

I am using new stamps from Technique Tuesday: Ordinary Days by Ali Edwards, Let's Call it a Date. I stamped "today" form Ordinary Days on the bottom of my ledger patterned paper. I added another "today" at the top of the page that I stamped and cut out.  The other large stamp "Wonderfully ordinary Average Day" is stamped on one of Elle's Studio new tags.

I used Studio Calico and My Mind's Eye patterned paper, Making Memories butterflies, Elle's Studio tags, 7gypseis tape and Martha Stewart twine.
I love the little date stamp set, Let's Call it a Date...super cute!

I haven't decided if I will wake up early to watch the Royal Wedding. I set the DVR just in case. What are your plans?
Have a great night.

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. Post a link to your creations on our challenge post at Impression Obsession blog. If you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

I made a card using  CR84FN color challenge 24: Light blue, aqua and cream, and Card Patterns Sketch 111.

I used Thick Borders WP80 stamp for my background. I like the really big polka dots. I stamped the Silhouette 15 D5565 butterflies in light blue ink on cardstock that was stamped with Cover-a-card Large Dots CC007 from another project and cut them out. I added Prima flower and lace and a sentiment from All Occasion II CL307 stamp set.

    { CR84FN Color Challenge 23 and Card Patterns sketch 110}

    I look forward to Saturdays...the new color challenge is up at CR84FN and the new sketch is up at Card Patterns. The colors this week are: Light Pink, Black, Cream.
    Here is my card.

    I challenged myself to use some of the older stamps. One of the sets has never been used, Thick Borders WP80.  I stamped the scalloped border in black ink at the top and the bottom of the My Mind's Eye patterned paper. The pretty circle with the numbers is from Circle Calendar HS204 stamp set. It fits perfectly with the large Marvy Uchida scalloped punch. The sentiment is from Circle Greetings CL99.
    The edges are painted with Jenni Bowlin Malted Milk paint (my favorite). I added a beautiful Prima flower from the Arcadian collection.

    Have a great week.

    { Impression Obsession DT challenge - Encouragement }

    Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. Post a link to your creations on our challenge post at Impression Obsession blog. If you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

    I made a card using  CR84FN color challenge 22: Kraft, Green and Brown (again), and Mojo Monday 185 sketch.

    The background is stamped with Butterfly Bliss CL171. Then I stamped the little flower from Life and Flowers CL250 stamp set. I decided to cut them out to create this little border on the bottom. I used Cover-a-card Splatter CC059 stamp for the white cardstock piece with the sentiment from All Occasion II CL307. The circle is from Circle Frames CL117 that I stamped on Kraft cardstock with brown ink and cut out. I stamped in again on white cardstock and only cut out the inner circle. The flower came from Cover-a-card Ornate Floral CC077 and then I added another little flower to the center.

    I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designer's blogs for inspiration!

      { CR84FN Color Challenge 22 and Card Patterns sketch 109 }

      Happy Sunday night! I was sick all week and I am finally starting to feel better.
       Some new Technique Tuesday stamps arrived the other day and I just had to make a card. There is still time to participate in Technique Tuesday Use Your Newest challenge.

      For the background I used Borderline - Vintage Lace and I stamped the flower pattern with brown ink on white cardstock. I love it so much that I will have to do it again. I just stamped two different borders in a straight line down the cardstock. The green patterned paper is My Mind's Eye. I painted the Maya Road chipboard with Glimmer Glam by Tattered Angels called Espresso Bean. I am in love!! I received several different colors recently, but this was my first time using it. Covers the chipboard perfectly!
      American Crafts ribbon with a button and Martha Stewart twine and Prima flower.
      I stamped the sentiment from Kids Are Cool by Ali Edwards on white cardstock with brown ink. I cut it out and adhered it with foam adhesive.

      Have a great Monday!
