{ CPS sketch # 53 }

I made this for CPS # 53. I did take me a whole day, yesterday, to complete it, between feedings and naps. I just love this patterned paper from Sandylion. I don't know if it's new or old, but it came in a goodie box from Simple Scrapbooks Magazine, along with other awesome goodies. I love butterflies and circles and this sketch was perfect for Impression Obsession stamps - Word Circles and Butterflies. 2008 Stamp catalog, Spring edition is out and I am waiting for my new stamps to arrive.
Tonight I realized that I have been blogging for over a year (January). Once things settle down around here I would love to give away some goodies. I hope to do it after March 15.

{ Baby shower photos }

Remember my baby shower? I am just now posting photos. I went into labor three days after that. I had so much fun and Alex got so many awesome goodies. Look how big I was!! I have some new photos from yesterday so you can see how different I look. I will post those later.

{ Sketch this cards # 42 }

Can you believe it? I made a card!!! Actually, I made three cards yesterday. They were quick and I used supplies that were laying around my messy table and floor. I saw the sketch and I had to make something...Sketch this cards 42. Tinkering Ink pp, HS bookplate, Prima journaling note, MM and Prima flower, butterfly flower center is Darice.

{ I love you ... }

I created something, not a card, but a layout. It took me several days, between feedings and naps, but I finished it. My first creation since I had Alex. I just love this photo of us on the day he was born, one month ago, today.
Carrie at Create My Keepsake has a card from Target for an inspiration that I adore and had to create something. The patterned papers are My Mind's Eye and Making Memories. I stamped the tags with Autumn Leaves stamp and the edges of paper with Technique Tuesday stamps. I cut the hearts with Sizzix die cut and added buttons. The stickers are KI Memories.

{ Happy Valentine's Day }

I hope everyone had a wonderful day! We are just hanging out here, nothing special planned. Alex got a special Valentine's Day card from his aunt (my best friend) Dayna. I just thought it was sweet.
And here is something I made some time ago. I got the wooden heart from Michaels. Patterned paper is Creative Imaginations, Prima flowers and Hobby Lobby ribbon.

{ Happy Birthday Mom !!! }

It's my mom's birthday today and I took her out to lunch at Grand Lux Cafe. It was nice to get dresses up and go out. Usually I don't look like this around the house so we took the opportunity to take plenty of photos.
These are photos from today before we went out and one from the restaurant. We had a great time!

{ I have some time... }

My little one is sleeping and I have some time to post some cards I made. Valentine's Day is next week, do you have something special planned?

This first one is made with Tinkering Ink Beloved collection and Noir Blanc collection. I added Maya Road office sheer, Heidi Swapp heart and Prima flower. The sparkling rick rack is from Target dollar spot.
This one is made with stamps from Impression Obsession. I stamped the flourishes and added the little hearts from Love Is All Around and Sweet Hearts. My shower thank you cards are the same format, with flourishes and stars...I will have to share that next time.

This is the last one is Scenic Route patterned paper and stickers. Ribbon is from Target dollar spot and Making Memories brad.

Next time I will share photos of baby Alex.
