{ Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop–Day 3 }

Welcome to Day 3 of the Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop! It’s our last day and I have seen lots of new faces. Thanks so much for stopping by to visit!

Make sure you visit the Impression Obsession blog for all the prize details.

Happy birthday by Daniela Dobson

Not really sure where I was going with this card, but this is how it came out. I think I like it. I started by die cutting the Alphabet Typewriter and a piece of white cardstock. The die comes in one piece like that. There are several different font dies you can check out HERE. I die cut a pink piece of cardstock as a mat and used a border die from Border Duo 1.
The chevron is a piece of cardstock that I used as my card base. For the scalloped circle I used Circle Shaker Frame die. I love that “happy birthday” font. I added some pearls and some twine and you have a card. I did use a SC481 sketch for this card.

{ Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop–Day 2 }

Welcome to Day 2 of the Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop! Make sure you visit the Impression Obsession blog for all the prize details.

Enjoy by Daniela Dobson

Today I used my Riding Pretty stamp set with a coordinating die. I have to tell you, I love this die!!! I Can’t remember how many times I cut this bike out with scissors. I will link up some other cards using this set at the end of this post if you want to take a look.
I used watercolor crayons to color the image. Nothing too elaborate here. I did add some glitter to the flowers. Pretty simple card to brighten someone's day.

You are worth it by Daniela Dobson

This was my first time using the Feather Set die. I die cut them and stamped one of them. I die cut fist and then used a stamp-a-ma-jig to line up my stamp. I used a stylus to add a grove in the middle of each feather. I tucked them all under the ribbon bow. I did ink the edges of the feathers to make them stand out more. For the patterned paper edge I used Border Duo 3 die set.

{ Just add photos }

This week we are sharing projects on Technique Tuesday blog that have photos and, of course, Technique Tuesday stamps. Here is a layout I created.

This memory by Daniela Dobson

I incorporated several different stamp sets on this layout.  I used brand new products from My Mind’s Eye that I received recently from Emma’s Paperie and Elle’s Studio March kit.  I stamped a sentiment  Your Choice by Ali Edwards stamp set on that yellow polka dot journaling card. The arrows from Ali Arrows by Ali Edwards stamp set were stamped and cut out. Then I added one more circle stamp from Right Here Flair and another arrow from Explore Arrows by Ali Edwards.

I used my watercolor to paint the white background. I added hearts by using modeling paste and a mask and lots of little splatters from Heidi Swapp color shine. There is a butterfly that I embossed and die cut that is barely visible, but adds softness to the page. I tucked my journaling to the little bag behind the photo.

I created the card for our green week challenge using Seasons by Ali Edwards stamp set, Grid stamp and Story Card steel die. I used watercolor crayons for the background.

{ Impression Obsession DT color challenge–green }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession color challenge – green!

Our challenge starts today, March 20, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, March 26, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between March 20-26. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my card.

Happy birthday by Daniela Dobson

It seems like I have made several different green cards recently. That is perfectly fine with me, I love green. As you can see I used several different stamp sets for this card. I die cut the Hollyhocks and used watercolor crayons to paint them. There is a Hollyhock stamp, too, if you are interested. Before this die came out I used to cut it all by hand. It’s called Full Bloom Hollyhocks. For this card, I only used the die.

The background is stamped with CAC Thin Chevron. I die cut the circle frame and layered the stamped banner over the top. I used some pearls, twine and flair from {A Flair For Buttons} to finish the card.
I had a totally different sentiment planned, but it didn’t work out. My die cut letters didn’t stand out so I had to change to this greetings banner.

Happy birthday close by Daniela Dobson

That is all from me. Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created.

I hope you play along.
