{ Parisian Vacation Memories with Deco Foil }

I have this amazing layout over at Therm O Web blog today showcasing Deco Foil – Pewter and Therm O Web adhesive. It’s a Silhouette cut file that I printed and cut and then added foil with my laminator. You will have to stop by and see the step by step photos.

I used all Impression Obsession stamps, including that beautiful layered rose.

{ PLUS Corp & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to CardMaker Design Team and PLUS Corp of America Blog Hop. Today I am sharing a project I created with a Deco Roller – Butterflies stamp from PLUS Corp of America.

Love life by Daniela Dobson

I started my card by stamping on the bottom of the blue cardstock and then applying pink embossing powder. The roller ink is black and I wanted to change the color to match the colors I had picked out for my card. I used bits and pieces from my “scraps” stash. It’s a little container on my desk that is filled with little goodies like the ones I used on my card.

Photo Jul 24, 3 05 01 PM

I used Therm O Web 3D foam adhesive to pop up the heart. I stamped and heat embossed the butterflies on white cardstock, as well. I fussy cut one of the butterflies that I added to the tag. The “love life” tag is from Elle’s Studio. The white tag with chevrons is something I created in Silhouette Studio and cut out. It’s one of the free files available under my freebies section.

{ June 2016 Card Kit from Scraptastic Club }

I am sharing my cards from June 2016 Card Kit.

My first one is pretty simple with two strips of patterned paper and a die cut popsicle adhered with 3D foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and drew a black line all around the card. I added washi tape from my stash that matches this kit perfectly.

You deserve a treat by Daniela Dobson

For my second card I did some stamping and heat embossing. I used watercolor to color one of the ice cream cones and stamped the second one with pink ink.

You melt my heart by Daniela Dobson

My last card uses die cut stars from the kit. I added two different stricker strips that came in the kit and a patterned paper strip to add to a die cut piece of patterned paper. Twine and sequins are from my stash.

Have a great day.

How about something totally different today. Mixed Media canvas.

I created this for Therm O Web for our recent Sierra Pacific Crafts show. This is a 6x6 canvas that I painted and decorated using our brand new products:

The Mixed Media sheets are amazing!!! I printed on mine and then added foil with a laminator. You can find all the details and how to step by step photos on my blog post on Therm O Web blog.

We have new Deco Foil, as well.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Hello Sunshine }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Hello Sunshine (warm colors)!

Today I thought I wold do something a little different. A layout. I saw a sketch from Creative Scrappers that was perfect for Painted Stripes stamp. The challenge was warm colors and I did add some green and blue, but they are really soft, and are in my photos.

Best ever by Daniela Dobson

I had designed a cactus in my Silhouette Studio some time ago, not sure what for. Sometimes I get an idea in my head and I just create stuff. They were perfect for this layout. I cut some from Elle’s Studio patterned paper and some from white cardstock. The ones that were white I stamped them with Mini Patterns 4 and Mini Patterns 1. I stamped two more directly on the page, and they are from our summer collection from Lindsay Ostrom: Cactus and Cacti.

I used two other stamp sets Say Cheese and The Sun for some words on the layout. I just went into my stash and picked several stamp sets that would fit my layout. I added some color shine and Whipped Spackle with Diamond Small 6 Stencil from StencilGrilf Products. That is one of my favorite stencils and I use it all the time. Whipped Spackle is my go to modeling paste and it’s from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. It is really light and fluffy, like frosting, and it dries fast.

{ July 2016 Memory Keepers Studio by Technique Tuesday }

Our July release of Memory Keepers Studio – Inspired Dragonfly and Fresh Cut Studio – Dragonfly is available now. Plus, check out all that is new and available for July.

Here is what I created with the set.

In addition to the Inspired Dragonfly stamp set I used Dreamy Dragonfly stamp set. Last week I was taking Heat Wave class from On Line Card Classes. I made these two cards using some of the lessons I learned in the class. I have a huge box of heat embossing materials that I rarely use and I am so glad I took the class. I added a little frame and washi to the card and used 3D foam adhesive from Therm O Web to the stamped and die cut dragonfly.

The best by Daniela Dobson

For this card I stamped the Gallica Rose with VersaMark and heat embossed it using black embossing powder. I used my watercolor to color the image. It is so pretty. This is our July Greenhouse Society stamp set – Gallica Rose. There is a matching die that you can get, as well.

Thank you by Daniela Dobson

Have a great Tuesday!

{ Impression Obsession Summer Die Release Blog Hop }

Welcome to the Impression Obsession Summer Die Release Blog Hop!
We have some beautiful new dies to share AND a Gift Certificate to give away!
The Blog Hop will be posted on the Impression Obsession Blog at 6am EST Monday July 11th.
Here is my card.

Celebrate by Daniela Dobson

I used our brand new dies for this card. I started by stamping the oval wreath Oval – Flowery, that I colored with Prismacolor pencils. I die cut Patchwork Elements, flower and leaves, from carstock that I colored with ink. I sued 3D foam adhesive from Therm O Web for the flower and leaves. I tucked in an enamel dot that I created with Nuvo Crystal Drops – Dandelion Yellow from Tonic Studios, a new product to me and I got them from Emma’s Paperie. I tucked in a little twine under the flower.
“Celebrate”  is from Congrats Word Set  and I die cut it from Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive by Therm O Web. It has a liner on both sides. I love using the foam adhesive for these intricate die cuts because you can just adhere the word and you don’t have to mess with additional adhesive. Once it was down where I wanted it, I removed the top liner and added red Deco Foil.

{ June Wipeout kit from Scraptastic Club }

I am sharing my first layout with June 2016 Wipeout kit, add-on and June 2016 Wipeout stamp set on Scraptastic blog today.

Swim by Daniela Dobson

This is such a fun and colorful kit. I wanted to use that "swim" cut out and I had perfect photos to match. I used the Bits & Pieces pack along with the puffy stickers from Elle's Studio to create a little collection of bits at the bottom, under the photos. I used the stamp set to add the chevron arrows and I stamped "water play" with black ink. The "splash" flair fit perfectly with my photos. The last thing I did was add Whipped Spackle with a wave stencil and navy splatters (color shine from my stash).

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Oooh Baby! }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Oooh Baby!

Here is my card.

Baby by Daniela Dobson

I used watercolor paper to add purple watercolor to the background. Once it was dry I applied Whipped Spackle through a star mask. I stamped the polka dots from Mini Patterns 2 and stars from Mini Patterns 3 on white cardstock with yellow ink. I die cut the elephant pieces. I used 3D foam adhesive from Therm O Web for the head. I added silver pearls for his eyes. I just love him. The “baby” was die cut from yellow cardstock that I adhered to DecoFoil White Foam Adhesive.  It helps adhere the intricate die and it gives it dimension.
