{ Pumpking Patch }

I wanted to share these photos from today. Our first visit to the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun. It was 85 degrees, hot! I want to go back again when it's cooler. Alex did not like his feet on the hay or grass (see last photo). That was really funny. He kept lifting his feet up and I had to put a blanket down when he was standing up in the field. We celebrated my husband's birthday by going out to dinner after all the pumpkin festivities. I added a little video at the end. I hope you enjoy it. I did finish Ali's Week In The Life...well, I have the photos and the journaling. Trying to work on the format for an album. I was going to share the photos of each day with you in a mosaic form, but I exceeded the upload limit at Flickr. I have only one day to share. I will show you next time.

{ Halloween Monster Mash at Embellish-It Scrapbooking }

That is the theme this month for our DT projects. You have to come and check out our Halloween Monster Mash gallery, it is full of beautiful projects and wonderful ideas. This month I got to play with Hallowhimsy Collection by Imaginisce. I have detailed instructions on all the projects in the gallery here. Every month we have a new project theme and the gallery will be revealed on the 5th of the month. This little album I made for Alex, I do plan on taking some photos of him and his first Halloween. I used used Pink Paislee, Tinkering Ink and Scenic Route patterned paper, Chatterbox brads and chipboard flower. We have fun challenges every Friday so stop by and play along.

{ Melissa's felt challenge and 2 Sketches 4 You #10 }

Melissa and Wendy have a little felt challenge. My felt flower is from Prima and I cut a piece of red felt for the center. The patterned paper is Basic Grey, Urban Prairie, that I bought at Michaels before my trip to Arizona and I am just now using it. It comes in a pad so there are two papers of each design. The journaling stamp is by Autumn Leaves and I bought it at Making Memories Unforgettable. I was a little overwhelmed because the store was big and had so many new things. This second card is for 2 Sketches 4 You. This adorable paper by We R Memory Keepers I bought at I-Scrap AZ in Scottsdale. Another cute store with lots of beautiful things. I have been working late at night since Alex is crawling on all fours now and is pulling himself to standing. I feel like I am constantly watching him. I am so afraid that he is going to fall and hurt himself. It is now 2:30 am and Alex just woke up. He has been doing that this week. Waking up between 2 and 3 am, smiling and ready to play. My husband just took a ton of photos of him because he was standing up in the crib and then put him back to "sleep", but I hear him on the monitor. I have to hurry up so I can figure out what to do. I will try to post more photos from the trip. I am doing Ali's A Week In The Life, I started yesterday. Is anyone else doing this? If you are interested I will post my photos of each day. I wanted to show you this other gift set I did first, just like the one from yesterday, using different stamps. I just love that Scenic Route paper, I found another sheet and I ordered it. It's just one inch strip and I can get three cards out of one strip. The little tree stamp is a set from Fontwerks that I am in love with. In the second photo you can see a little peek of my gratitude wrap that I will post later, no time now. Have to go. Don't forget to leave a comment on the previous post for the giveaway.

{ Impression Obsession Design Team Challenge #8 - Gift set and Giveaway }

Our challenge was to create a stamped gift set. I have actually made this set three different times and gave it away as gifts. One of the sets was for a Gratitude Wrap swap that Melissa Goodsell hosted. I will show you what I created in another post. For this gift set I used white greeting cards, Scenic Route patterned paper and Impression Obsession stamps. Simple as that. A stamp from Weeds and Wildflowers was my main image and then I added a sentiment from Anytime Sentiments. I used a tag stamp from A Gift For You set and cut it out and added it to the Avery tag. You could make or buy a little gift box to put this in, but I gave it in a gift bag wrapped with tissue paper.
