{ Card kit Monday and a freebie }

I made it, Card kit Monday on Monday. This is my third card with this kit. I changed the sentiments and embellishments. So many other things can be added from your stash.

For this card I used Color Throwdown #350 and Fab Friday 68

This time I added the butterfly (my previous cards had an arrow and a balloon).  I am sharing  the arrow, balloon and butterfly in the freebie file below.
I cut the striped panel from white cardstock and painted it pink and orange using watercolor to match the colors for the challenge. The butterfly is painted, as well, with the same pink color.

{ Card kit Monday }

Hi, here is my Card kit Monday post on Tuesday, LOL. It didn’t work out how I planned (posting on Monday), but it was fun using the same items again to create this new card.

I used Mojo Monday 405 sketch for this card. I loved it the moment I saw it and thought my elements would work perfectly for the sketch. The bright paper is from Echo Park that I received recently from Emma’s Paperie.

Here is the kit I used. Same as last week, except I added a balloon and a different sentiment. I needed the balloon as part of the Curtain Call – Celebrate challenge.  I have never made a balloon before and it was easy. The only thing that is different from last week is that the arrow is missing and I have a different sentiment. 

“Celebrate” is my own handwriting and after I cut it I didn’t like that it wasn’t standing out on the busy background. I used the offset function to create an outline around the word that I cut from white cardstock.

{ July 2015 Memory Keepers Studio by Technique Tuesday }

It’s time for July release of Memory Keepers Studio- Favorite Things and Fresh Cut Studio – Page Makers. This stamp set is shipping July 15. If you are not a member of Memory Keepers Studio come and see how you can sign up --->>> HERE.

Here is a layout I created using the stamps and dies.

 

I combined several different stamp sets here, but the focus is on Favorite Things stamp set and Page Makers dies. I couldn’t resist the large letters that I colored with watercolor crayons. Big Timber Outline Lowercase are awesome. I stamped the name on white cardstock and cut the whole word out. The little bike and “have fun” is from On Vacation - Memory Keepers Studio - May 2015.

There are other new releases for July that you need to check out, especially the alphabet sets. We have 4 new ones. In addition, we released 4 new planner stamp sets. I have been using them in my June planner and have my July ready to go.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Christmas in July }

Hello and happy Thursday. It’s that time again, Impression Obsession DT challenge. Today I am sharing a card that I created with brand NEW stamps from Impression Obsession. This is from our Fall/Winter 2015 release and will be available soon.

How fun is this tree? It is called Graphic Tree. I used watercolor pencils to color it and I added Deco Foil for extra sparkle and shine. The background is stamped with Cover-a-Card Quatrefoil. On top of that I layered our new die from the last release called All-in-One Frames - Rectangles 2. As you can see it is stitched! Love that. The oval is from last release, as well, called All-in-One Frames – Ovals. Striped Banner is an older stamp and I love how versatile it is.
