Welcome to our September Studio AE Blog Hop.
Today we are featuring projects made with the Studio AE - 25 Moments by Ali Edwards - November 2011.
Here is my project.
December Daily 2011 mini album.
This is my fourth year doing the project and everything in the album is from my stash.
I used a Sizzix die for the album cover and inside pages. Size: 4 x 4 3/4".
The front and back album covers are die cut from Real Wood Thick Birch. I found it at Michaels, long time ago. I had no problems cutting it with my Sizzix Big Shot.
I used stamps from Studio AE - 25 Moments by Ali Edwards for the front cover using Grasshopper and Strawberry Clearsnap ink. I stamped 25 Moments on a chipboard piece from FUNdamental Postage Frames. I stamped the 25 again on Kraft cardstock and cut it out. The 2011 stamp is from A Date With Ali by Ali Edwards stamp set.
The round image is stamped on cardstock and cut out. I added the berry leaves and a jewel brad to the heart.
I added a jingle bell to the bow with twine. The little snowflakes are Cuttlebug dies and the large snowflake is a Sizzix die.
The inside pages are die cut from My Mind's Eye Life Stories collection. They are all Kraft with some design.
I created the design for the first five pages and then I followed the same design for all the others. I created all the embellishments with stamps and punches, stacked them in piles and assembled the pages. I used Super Stik Permanent Glue Stick by Therm O Web to temporarily hold the little embellishments. Once I was done with all 25 pages I started sewing. The least thing I did was stamp all the pages with sentiments from Studio AE - 25 Moments by Ali Edwards - November 2011.
I will use small photos, probably 2x3" or 4x4". For the journaling I will use a stamp from December Daily 2011 by Ali Edwards (I have the 2010 version) or some of my other journaling notes and die cuts. The back of the pages are blank so there is plenty of room for more photos and journaling as needed. I can further decorate the pages with die cuts, brads, buttons and twine and I will do that once I add photos and journaling.
This is just a sampling of the pages I will post them all in my online gallery later tonight.
Let me know if you have any questions.
