{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Quick Christmas Cards }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Quick Christmas cards.

Snow Thankful  by Daniela Dobson

I need several Christmas thank you cards for some of my friends. I thought I would use my Misti to mass produce several using the same design. This was super easy. I used one ink for the images and then black for the sentiment and a stripe at the top. I added gold washi to all the cards and then added a colored cardstock base.

This would be a great gift for a dear friend or a family member.

{ November Tis The Season Highlight from Elle’s Studio }

I have a blog post on Elle’s Studio blog today highlighting Tis The Season collection and November kit + extras. For my layout today I only used the patterned paper from Tis The Season collection and all my other items are from the November kit. I wanted to document our Thanksgiving and as I was gathering all my items from the kit, I loved the blue, black and gray with a touch of wood.

I cut a tag from the same background paper for my journaling and tucked it behind the doily from my stash. When applying adhesive I just make sure I leave a pocket for the tag to fit it. How about that gorgeous Date It Stamp? Love it.

The Thanksgiving Acrylic fit perfectly in the tag section with the large date right below it. I added some twine from my stash along with enamel dots and some die cuts. I love this color combination and will definitively use it again.

{ Thankful for Misti blog hop }

Hi and welcome to our Thankful for Misti blog hop.We will be sharing projects we created with our Misti and sharing why we are thankful for the Misti.

 Here is my card using Impression Obsession stamps and Therm O Web adhesive.

1. I am thankful for the Misti because I can see where I am lining up the stamps. There is no guessing. Once you line it up and pick it up, that is where the stamp will stay. After I heat embossed the small triangles, I stamped the larger row of triangles.

2. I am thankful for the Misti because I can stamp again, for the second impression, without having anything move.  The first time I stamped the triangles, there was a fuz on one of the lines. I removed the fuzz, reinked and stamped again for a perfect impression.

3. I am thankful for the Misti because I can stamp a sentiment even when my card is completely finished with several layers.

Impression Obsession stamps and dies:

We will be giving away two MISTIs (your choice of original or Mini) - one to you, and one to a friend or relative you are thankful for. Tell us what you are thankful for.
 You can comment through Sunday on all blogs on the hop, and winners will be notified on Monday.
