{ CPS sketch 240 }

This week Clearsnap Inc. is sponsoring CPS sketch #240. 

I made this card for the sketch.

I started by adhering Clearsnap Design Adhesive: French Swirl and covering it with Clearsnap Top Boss Embossing Powder: Black.

I used The Crafter's Workshop chevron template and Clearsnap ColorBox Premium Dye Ink: Banana to cover my patterned paper by Grant Studios. I used a stylus tip to apply the ink.

I stamped the butterfly with Clearsnap Molding Mat: Game Board and this new ColorBox Mix'd Media Inc by Donna Salazar: Peridot. Love it!! 

I added some buttons and twine to the butterfly. The sentiment is from a new Hero Arts stamp set and I stamped it on cardstock with ColorBox Mix'd Media Inc by Donna Salazar: Black.

{ You take the cake }

Just a little card to share with you for the weekend using Technique Tuesday stamps and Clearsnap ink.

 

I found a strip of this fun paper from Pink Paislee and used those colors for the cupcake. The cupcake stamp set is called  The Cupcakery. I stamped the cupcake with Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Dye Ink: Pinkolicious and colored the stripes with Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Dye Ink: Mermaid and Clearsnap ColorBox Premium Dye Ink: Artichoke using a blender pen.
I layered a journaling note and  a chipboard shape from FUNdamental Swanky Frames. 
The sentiment is stamped with Clearsnap ColorBox Pigment Stamp Pad: Black.



After I cut the cupcake out I added Clearsnap Fairy Dust Glitter: Sugar Shimmer. I used 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web for the cupcake.
I added a little Clearsnap Smooch Spritz: Ice Rink over the card.

{ Discover layout using Smooch Spritz and ColorBox Premium Dye Ink }

My Clearsnap post goes live every month on the 23rd on the Clearsnap blog. Last month I created this layout using Smooch Spritz and ColorBox Premium Dye Ink with a sticker sheet for a mask.
Check out my blog post for step by step instructions on how I created this layout.

I used this sticker sheet as my mask that I sprayed with Smooch Spritz: Golden Glow.

I also stamped my own background with ColorBox Premium Dye Ink: Banana and an empty twine spool.

{ October Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop }

Welcome to our September Studio AE Blog Hop.

Today we are featuring projects made with the Studio AE - Give Thanks Ali Edwards - October 2011.


Here is my layout.

I used several words from the stamp set to stamp the white cardstock using Clearsnap ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink: Pumpkin Spice and Clearsnap ColorBox Pigment Stamp Pad: Chestnut. 

I stamped the little pumpkins with Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Dye Ink: Pumpkin Pie twice on cardstock. I cut them out and used 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web to stack them together.

The little date stamp is from Let's Call It A Date.

I stamped the cardstock banner with word "pumpkins"after it was sprayed with Candle Glow and Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
