{ Sketch this: 52, CPS sketch #66 and baby Alex }
In addition to glitter happy I was pink happy. This card was made for CPS #66. I wanted to make a circle card, but it was really late and it didn't work out. The large scalloped circle is a stamp (that I love) from Impression Obsession, called Circle Elements #1. You can see it used here, too. I cut a smaller circle out of patterned paper (Pink Paislee) to fit inside. Maya Road sheer office note. Little owl came from Sassafras Lass patterned paper that I cut out. Of course, I couldn't resist adding glitter to her eyes. American Crafts photo corners, Love Elsie rub-ons. It's amazing how many things you can find (that you forgot about) while cleaning. Guess who is eating rice cereal? I was so surprised last week when the doctor said (at his 4 month well checkup) that he can start eating. It was really funny at first, but now he figured it out and is eating like a champ. He thinks it's funny so he laughs. It's really messy. The other two photos are just some of my favorites. I have been putting sunglasses on him while we go out to get the mail. He is just so cute. He loves to talk and laugh. Last weekend he rolled over for the first time and I got it on video!!!!
OK, I think that is all for tonight. I have to go finish watching Lost.

{ CPS sketch # 64 }
Just to let you know that Alex is here with me, in my lap, watching, as I type with one hand. This is his first time at the computer. We are listening to music. He was playing and I thought he was going to sleep, but I think he just wants some hugs and kisses.
For this card I used scraps and whatever was laying on the desk. This place is such a mess and I can't find anything. I am getting tired of it and I want to clean it up. Anyway, Pink Paislee and Creative Imaginations patterned paper, My Mind's Eye journal note, Melissa Frances chipboard heart, Michael's ribbon, Creative Cafe rub-ons, can't remember where the stamps are from or the trim. Have a great weekend.

{ Impression Obsession Design Team Challenge #3 }
For this card I am using the new Circle Elements #1. I stamped the large scalloped circle (they are all separate so you are getting a ton of stamps in this set). I cut out the scallop and adhered it to the top of my card. I stamped a journaling stamp from Journaling II set inside the scallop, it fit perfectly. I just love the way that looks. I stamped the background of my card with a flower from Circle Elements #1 and I cut out two to add as an embellishment to the top of my card. The sentiment is from Mini Messages set. I used a blue Glaze pen for lines in my scalloped circle. I found them the other day, totally forgot that I bought them long time ago.
Check out the cards that other DT members created Laura, Deborah, Julie, Kelli, Tina and Penny.

{ I stay up late....}
It was National Scrapbooking Day on Saturday and I got a ton of stuff done. Create My Keepsake has the best crops and prizes. Here are some of the things I made on Saturday and Sunday.
This first card is all Tinkering Ink patterned paper from their Al Fresco collection. I love those colors. The little bird stamp is from Imaginisce. I found it at my LSS for $0.99!
I am in love with Kraft paper. I picked up a pack at Hobby Lobby the other day. Jennifer McGuire mentioned on her blog that she loves using colored pencils on Kraft paper, so I had to try. I used Prismacolor pencils and I have to tell you that I love it, too. That tree is a template from The Crafters Workshop. The little house is Jenni Bowlin journaling card, Heidi Grace stamp and the little butterflies are Martha Stewart punch. Here is a little layout I did. They take a little longer, but I have so many photos now, that I want to do more. I started a little journal with ideas, sketches and notes. It's just a plain notebook that I want to alter. If I ever do I will show you. I used Making Memories Chelsea's Place patterned paper. I think you can only get it at Michaels. The green patterned paper is Scenic Route. I added DCWV flowers and Creative Cafe buttons.

{ CPS sketch # 61 and other goodies }
I found this SEI patterned paper called Black Orchid that I fell in love with and I had to have. SEI patterned paper, Creative Imaginations chipboard, Studio G stamp.
This little card I did for Jen's sketch challenge some time ago. She has one every week and I just love her work. I used Making Memories patterned paper, Basic Grey rub-ons and sticker, Prima brad, crochet flower that my mom made. I don't know where the glitter heart came from.
This last one is for a challenge at Paper Posies. They are celebrating their 3 Year Anniversary with a month long party. Tinkering Ink patterned paper, rub-on and sticker and Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
Have a great weekend !!!!
