Time for another challenge: glitter, sparkles and bling. My cards were mostly glitter sparkles. Three different cards and three different techniques. On this first one I used
Journaling I stamp set and
Baby stamp set. I used glitter glue (like Stickles) to outline my main image and then I filled out some areas on the patterned paper. If you click on the images you will get a slightly larger version and you can see the sparkle.

It is really hard to photograph these sparkly cards. This one is embossed with glitter embossing powder, Raspberry Ice. You can't even see the glitter in second photo and these were taken during the day. I used a large background stamp called
Daisy background, and stamped it using VersaMark. The little sentiment is from
Be Mine Valentine set.

For this one I used several stamp sets. Large dot from
Young at Heart, flowers from
Mod Flowers, journaling spot from
Journaling I, butterfly from
Butterfly Bliss and sentiment from
Anytime Sentiments. Don't you just love going through your stamp collection and gathering different stamps that will work together. I was looking for solid stamps, dots and flowers, because I painted them with glue, stamped and then sprinkled the glitter on top. The dots I just dipped in glue, but for the flowers it worked better if I painted the glue on. I cute the flowers out. The butterflies I stamped directly on the card with StazOn and then added glue with a glue pen and sprinkled with glitter.
Check out what the other DT members created: Penny, Laura, Julie, Deborah.
It is really late and I need to go to bed. I think Alex is teething. Well, he is, but I think a tooth might come out soon. He was not happy this evening and spent most of the time with mommy.
Wow, I love your sparkly cards LOADS!! How clever to add Stickles to the patterned paper! And your sparkly embossing is fabulous too!
