I started by positioning my Chevron template on cardstock. I used Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Dye Ink: Pumpkin Pie and a Stylus with a foam tip.

I dipped the foam tip into the ink and using circular motion added it to the template.

I love the way that looks. The ink was so easy to apply. Once that was done I started making my own embellishments.

I used the Herringbone template and my Smooch Spritz: Candle Glow and Log Cabin. First, I applied Top Boss Watermark Ink and heat embossed using Clearsnap Top Boss Embossing Powder: Honey Pearl. I like how the embossed areas soaked up some of the Smooch Spritz. I die cut circles and used them on my layout.

I used the Journaling Blurbs template to cut shapes from patterned paper that I used throughout my layout.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
