Today is our first of three New Stamps and Stamp Set Releases scheduled for March, April, and May. The stamps are cute, pretty, and fun too. You won't want to miss out. The Design Team will create cards with the stamps released that month on the challenge date posted. You will still be able to join in the challenges by building your card around the theme and the Gift Certificate winners will still be awarded by Random.org. So get busy out there and celebrate with us. Invite a friend and stamp up a storm!!
We have a brand NEW WEBSITE, too!!! Come and visit us.
Our next challenge starts today, March 15, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, March 21, at 10 PM. If you would like a chance to win free stamps, get busy out there, then post creation at the bottom of the post on Impression Obsession Blog, between March 15-21, using Inlinkz.
Here is the card I created with a brand new set called Lillian MC368. Isn’t she cute?
I have to tell you, I was a little scared. I don’t color people stamps, not sure if I ever have. I like Lillian and now I can’t wait to use the other sets from the new release.
I colored her using Caran D’Ache Watercolor crayons. See supplies below for specific colors used.
The sentiment is from Three of a Kind CS361 stamp set. It’s the one that would fit perfectly in that spot. The card shape and space didn’t leave me room for the sentiment.
I curved the stamp on the acrylic block to follow the circle shape of the card.
I added strips of ribbon to the bottom. I had other plans for that space that didn’t work out. I like this better.
The card shape is from Digi Kit by Kristina Werner that I cut with Silhouette Cameo.
I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designer's blogs for inspiration!
