Every Friday we have a new challenge at
Embellish-It Scrapbooking. Today's challenge is hosted by Michelle. Incorporate paper folding in some way on your card....besides the card fold(s).Use the folding as an embellishment; try Tea Bag Folding, Iris Folding, Pleating or any form of paper folding (besides the card folds) on your card for a change of pace. Please use keyword

For my card I pleated the patterned paper and sewed it to the card. The beautiful tree is from
Impression Obsession called
Branches of a Tree. I love it!!!! The sentiment is from
Express Yourself set. Basic Grey patterned paper, bird is from Hero Arts,
Prima flower and May Arts ribbon.

There are different rules for each one, but to make this easier for me I will list five blogs that I love to read or that inspire me. I have 177 blogs in my
google reader, so this will be very hard. It is 1:45 am and I need to go to bed.
Michelle Wooderson,
Stephanie Howell,
Roree Rumph,
Alli Miles,
Carla Peicheff.
Wow, what a challenge that was. I ended up catching up on some of the blogs that I missed today. I can get lost for hours reading and looking at all the beautiful creations.
I am going to bed now. Have a great Labor Day weekend!

First of all, I am just thrilled for you and all your awards! There are so many people who just love your blog and that includes me!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, the paper pleating is just beautiful; I have never tried that so I guess I better get busy, right? That stamp image is lovely and the whole look of the card is sweet, soft, colorful and just out of this world! I love it!
Lastly, thank you for your sweet comment about my eyes....my first surgery was that fast, "suppose to be simple" cataract surgery. Unfortunately I fell into the 8% of people who have problems with it. The first surgery, itself, was painful since they had so much trouble deadening my eyes. As a result, I developed what they call, secondary cataracts, that need to be removed with a laser. This time they did just one since I am a "watch" candidate because there are so many things that can go wrong with the laser part. So I am healing okay and will be checked next Thursday and then we will set up to do the other eye. I am hopeful that this will be my last surgery but the docs are not so sure. Bummer!
wow thats really cool! i LOVE the tree stamp! so awesome! check out my new blog if u have a minute
