{ 2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's sketch # 14 }
I wanted to post this before I get too busy baking and cooking. We are staying home and it's just us this year. I will be making turkey for the first time. I am a little nervous, but I am sure there will be something to eat on Thursday.
This card was made for 2 Sketches 4 You with scraps of paper that I found while cleaning my table (Making Memories). The flourish stamp is a foam stamp by Making Memories that I had for a long time, I found a box of them the other day. The bird stamp is by Inkadinkado and the pearls and the brad came in my CupCards {to go} kit.
I haven't posted any photos of Alex in a while. He is 10 months old and is taking his first steps. He is so much fun. Last year I had a huge belly. This is Alex's first Thanksgiving and I wanted to do something special . I am working on a Gratitude album by Melodee Langworthy, 12 things I am grateful for. I only have 3 pages left. It was so much fun. Now all I have to do is add photos. I am looking forward to starting my December Daily album on the 1st.
Tomorrow, I am baking pies, Apple and Pumpkin.
Happy Thanksgiving.

{ 2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's sketch 13 and Hero Arts challenge }
I was able to finish this card last night for 2 Sketches 4 you. The adorable house stamp is Maya Road and the tree stamp is Autumn Leaves. I added red glitter glue to some of the hearts. The background, tree, paper is by Chatterbox that I found at Michaels's, Making Memories patterned paper on the house and the hill, Basic Grey paper for the tree and Fancy Pants journaling card. Here is a card I created for Hero Arts blog technique challenge, distressing and clear resist. I clear embossed the leaves on my tag and than applied ink over the top. In addition I used white embossing powder for the trees. The flower my mom made, if you remember from this post here. Making Memories patterned paper and Tim Holtz tag.

{ Fit for a Princess at Embellish-Online }
This month I got to work with Fairest Of Them All from Imaginisce at Embellish-Online.com. You have to check out the gallery for all the other creations. This is such a cute, girly collection. I especially love the little stamps. They are only $1.00. I altered a rectangular hinged tin and I created a mini album to fit inside. For the inside pages, I stamped the images with VersaMark and heat embossed using glitter embossing powder.

{ 2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's sketch 12 }
***ETA: Laura thanks for letting me know that the comments were not working. I think its fixed now.
I was finally able to create a card for 2 sketches 4 you. I had just a moment while Alex was napping this morning. I couldn't wait to use these new stamps by Kelly Panacci from Sandylion. They arrived last week! The patterned paper is Basic Grey Urban Prairie and you can find it at Embellish-Online.com. I embossed the bottom of my card with Cuttlebug Border Frills. Basic Grey paper has a white core so I was able to emboss an image and use my sanding block to sand the embossed area to get that white look.
Tomorrow is our gallery reveal for November at Embellish-Online.com. Here is a little sneak peek for you.
I am blogging over at Tinkering Ink blog this week and here is a sneak peek of my project for tomorrow, come and check it out. Snowflakes and glitter.
Alex and I went to vote today! It was his first time. Button is created by Delaney Gates. You can get one here.

{ Tinkering Ink guest blogger }
I am blogging over at Tinkering Ink blog this week. Come and check it out. I am posting all new creations and giving away some goodies on Friday. For today I made a card set. You can see more photos on the blog, and instructions.
For this project I used Evelyn patterned paper from Retro Metro collection, and Spring Stamp Set.
Last week has been crazy busy for me, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Last night I fell asleep at the desk here. I was really tired and I put my head down just for a moment. When I woke up I laughed, it reminded me of school days.
Hi from Alex.
