{ My first digital page }

Monday we had our first Scrappy Hour at Create My Keepsake hosted by Rachel. It is super fast and easy. Supplies are posted the night before. She posts photos and instructions and you follow along. We are doing this every Monday so check it out. I didn't play that night, but did today. This was a perfect opportunity for me to do a digi layout. So, this is my first "official" digi layout. I used Echoes of Asia Kit by Jessica Sprague, SF Happiness and Oh {Photo} Shoot! font. (Note: the Scrappy Hour layout was inspired by Kelli Crowe )

{ Hello from Pennsylvania }

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am in Chambersburg, PA with my husband. We did find some snow today, just for me, at Caledonia State Park. I found these clear dollar stamps at Michael's here in town, $1.00 bin. I searched for them all over Dallas and didn't find any. This store is brand new and they have everything. Across the border in Hagerstown, MD I found A.C. More These American Crafts buttons were only $0.70 each. I had fun shopping and visiting these little towns.

{ Happy and warm thoughts }

I wanted to share this little tag with you as I am sitting here at the airport, waiting for my flight. I missed my earlier one. Well, I didn't really miss it, I just checked in too late and they would not let me on!!!! I felt like I was on the Amazing Race, except they let them on the flight last minute. Anyway, I was really upset and wanted to share something happy.
This little tag was made last month with new
Frances Meyer papers. Just looking at this makes me feel warm. I am traveling to Chambersburg, PA, where there is still snow on the ground.
I hope you are having a great day!!!

{ Rusty Pickle }

Here are the cards I made with March kit from Inspire Me Card Kits. Wonderful papers and beautiful soft colors. Today I finished a layout for Becky Fleck's Page Maps. Be on a lookout for her April newsletter. Paper Trends requested a card today for their August/September 2007 issue. I am always happy and grateful to hear from them.

{ Target $1 spot }

I love going to Target and checking out their $1 spot. There is always something that I will totally adore and buy. I had this little bucket for some time and these papers and ribbon were just perfect. Check out the "Chocolate Bunnies" March kit at Inspire Me Card Kits. The eggs I got at Garden Ridge last year after Easter sale. There are some other projects I completed with this wonderful kit, but I am trying to go to bed "on time" and I will have to post them tomorrow.

{ Ribbon storage }

I found these cool ribbon storage containers at Garden Ridge couple of weeks ago for $1.00. I only got two, but now I am thinking about getting some more, just in case. This one will hold approximately 25 ribbon spools.

{ Luck of the Irish }

I made this card for Nicole's challenge over at CMK How appropriate since today is St. Patrick's Day. Green is not my color, but I got these wonderful My Mind's Eye papers from Paper Posies March kit. Nicole is giving away goodies so come and play. I made the shamrock with Fiskars heart stamp. Ribbon is May Arts and little "good luck" stamp is from Michaels $1 bin. Have a good one!

{ Houston Regional }

I went to Stampin’ Up Regional in Houston last weekend. It was my first one and I had no idea what to expect. I did find out couple of days before that people swap at this event. I came up with something easy and simple and made 20 cards. That was plenty for me. Some people made 100!!!! I did get some awesome cards in return. I met some wonderful people and one of them was LaDonna. She was a sweet person I met in the parking garage and we spent the day together since we both came alone. Thanks LaDonna for hanging out with me. Overall, it was fun and I learned several new techniques I hope to use soon. And, of course, a new stamps set. I don’t have a picture of it yet.
