{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Come On Over }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Come On Over (invitation of any kind).

Here is a set of invitations I created using my Misti and Party Time stamp set.

I cut 4 pieces of patterned paper as a base and 4 pieces from white cardstock

.

Each white background is “smooshed” with different color of Color Shine.

I used my Misti to stamp the front of all the cards.

I added polka dot washi to the bottom of each card front.

I stitched around all the cards with black thread.

I added a matching color of twine to all the invitations.

{ Impression Obsession 2017 Fall/Winter Die Hop Day 2 }

Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2017 Fall/Winter Die Hop!
We have some very fun new dies to share AND Gift Certificates to give away!

For this card I used Fall Jar die and the Fall Jar matching stamp set.  This is such a cute stamp set and it has a variety of succulents and sentiments.

At the top I added an older die called Border Duo 1 Die Set. I tucked it under a piece of patterned paper from Elle’s Studio and a thin piece of cardstock.

For the bottom of the card I added another new stamp by Seth Apter called Net Result.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Harvest Hellos }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Harvest Hellos (Halloween or Halloweenish colors).

My card contains Halloweenish colors, plus I needed a card for a friend who needs extra love this week and coffee always helps…and a friend.

I used our brand new Coffee to Go stamp set and matching dies. For my background I used Paint Splatter stamp on the background with Impression Obsession ink – Chocolate. For the bottom I found a sentiment on the internet that I liked and I didn’t have anything similar. I used Outline Alphabet (life) and Broadway Baby (coffee) fonts. That Outline Alphabet is super cute. You can stamp in any color to match your project.

{ You are loved card with Maya Road }

Hi and happy Monday. I have a blog post today on Maya Road Blog.

Here is a card I created using Ken Oliver charms.

I started by adding Whipped Spackle to the background and some color shine. I die cut Notepad die from patterned paper and adhered it to the background layered with  Glassine Bag. The flowers and leaves  from Rose Garden Sentiments Stamp Set are stamped on white cardstock and cut out. Ken Oliver Heart & Key Charm is tied with twine and adhered under the flower. I stamped the sentiment in black ink on a little tag and pinned it with Vintage Pearl Pin - Hot Pink. I used Therm O Web adhesive to create this card.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – So Very Thankful }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – So Very Thankful (Thanksgiving or Thank You).

So many things to be thankful for right now. We had a wonderful time in Arizona with family and a nice trip to the beach in Florida. Alex started fourth grade and I went back to work full time. I don’t like that summer is almost over. It’s been pretty busy around here, especially adjusting back to school schedule. Follow me on Instagram to see all the latest updates.

Here is a card I created for our DT challenge. I received these new dies that match the beautiful stamp set called Elegant Feathers.

I created the background with color shine. I need to get those out again and use them more. I just love the way it turned out. I used Whipped Spackle and a polka dot mask for the large polka dots in the background.

I stamped and die cut the feathers. They have an outline and then a matching filler stamp. I am adding photos of the stamps below.

I added a button, twine and sequins. The sentiment is a Thanks die that has a coordinating stamp set – Thanks. It’s just die cut from white cardstock. As always, I use Therm O Web adhesive on all my projects. Those Zots are perfect for the sequins. The two tiny tags are from Elle’s Studio and I added two strips of washi tape to the right lower corner.

Here is what I created.

I used Caught on Camera Stamp Set and Start with a Smile Stamp Set for this card. We have several fun stamps this month with different cameras and I love them.

I colored the cameras with Prismacolor pencils. The background is painted with acrylic paint and whipped spackle and a stencil.

For the tag I used our new Toppers DIY Steel Die. They are perfect for making different tags.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Christmas In July }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Christmas In July

Here is a card I created for our DT challenge.

I had this striped tag from Elle’s Studio laying on my desk and I really liked the colors. I used Festive Ornaments for this card that I stamped using our brand new INK. I used three different colors in the color set to get the varied look of the ornaments.
The sentiment is from our Christmas Sentiments stamp set.
I added 3D foam squares to the ornaments for dimension and scattered some Nuvo Crystal Drops in red and black.
