{ Thank you card }

I haven’t heard from my winner  from my little stamp giveaway. If I don’t hear from you soon I will have to pick another winner.
***Heather Thompson email me your address so we can mail that stamp to you!***

I made another little card to join in on some of the challenges that are going on. I fell in love with the Rterosketches #130. I used Impression Obsession stamps and dies for this card.

Sketchy Chevron Border and a banner from Banners & Greetings stamp set.

Thank you by Daniela Dobson

My inspiration colors are from Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge. I used Leaves Die Set from Impression Obsession. There is a smaller set, as well, called Sm. Leaf Set. I die cut the leaves from cardstock and I inked the edges. The leaves are painted with Glass Bead Glitter Gel from Faber Castell.  I added a little banner from Banners & Tails and a sentiment from More Basic Greetings.

If you are looking for some fun new dies check out Impression Obsession Dies. I just received an awesome box of new dies.

{ Technique Tuesday giveaway winner }

Hello and happy Wednesday. I have a winner from my little stamp giveaway from last week.

***Heather Thompson email me your address so we can mail that stamp to you!***

I made a little card because I was playing with some new Faber Castell Design Memory Craft goodies that arrived.

Hello by Daniela Dobson

I finally used one of Heidi Swapp stencils that I got from Emma’s Paperie. I mixed Whipped Spackle from Faber Castell and blue Gelato to get the color. The chevron from Chevrons Two Step is stamped with Hero Arts ink. The butterfly, from Butterfly Collage, is stamped on watercolor paper and colored with watercolor crayons.
Hello is from Fly Away stamp set.

{ Impression Obsession Design Team Thursday }

It is my turn today to share a card I made using Impression Obsession stamps. Here is what I created.

Happiness by Daniela Dobson

I used Pom Pom Flower Bouquet stamp for the card base. I spritzed the stamp with water and painted it with yellow Gelato. I sprayed the card with color Shine. Once it was dry I stamped the “happiness” words from Happiness & Love stamp set. The butterflies are stamped and cut out.

I used Mojo Monday 330 for the sketch. I went for a typical card size instead of a tall and skinny. The color inspiration is from a box that was sitting on my desk. white with purple, yellow, blue and pink.

That is all from me for today. Have a great Thursday!

{ Exclusive January kit from Elle’s Studio }

**This is my second post for the day. You can find January Studio AE blog hop in the post below or click HERE.***

Exclusive January kit is out and ready for purchase.

Here is my layout.

Wishes for 2014 by Daniela Dobson

I had so  much fun with this kit and layout. There are so many different tags included for many different topics. I decided to go with Wishes for 2014. I can definitively see a love layout or a card in the near future.

I used various tags then went with my theme and some cut files that I cut using my Silhouette Cameo, the speech bubble and 2014. I sprayed them with color shine to match my other colors. Those cut files are perfect to use all year long.

The background is painted with Gelatos and I added some modeling paste using Heidi Swapp mask. The flair buttons from {A Flair For Buttons} fit everything perfectly.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Sweet Thoughts}

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Sweet Thoughts.

Our challenge starts today, January 17, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, January 23, at 10 PM.

Create a new card using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between January 17 -23. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my card.

Sweet by Daniela Dobson

I used a Mini Layered Beads template for the background and sprayed it with mist. There is a matching cover-a-card stamp called Circles that matches that template. I used the stamp set with the matching template in the blog post here. The ATC card is something I created for another project and didn’t use. I used watercolors and Faber-Castell Gelatos to create the little scene. I added Striped Washi tape to the top and a heart with some foam adhesive.

{ Joy Mixed Media canvas and a giveaway }

This is my last post for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft as their guest DT member. I loved it all. Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your team. I love how this canvas turned out. It matches my other one perfectly.

Step by step photos and instructions are on Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog. If you Google deer silhouette you have plenty to choose from. I liked this one. I traced it in my Silhouette Studio and cut it on iCraft adhesive sheet from Therm O Web. You have seen me use that sheet on all my glitter projects. I used the iCraft adhesive sheet for the snowflake below. You can download that one for free.

Here is a little Snowman card that I created not that long ago using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. I created the snowman in my Silhouette Studio and colored him using Faber–Castell Design Memory Craft. Step by step photos and instructions are on the blog HERE.

Now for the giveaway!!!

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft gave me this prize to give away to one of my blog readers. This prize pack is worth over $50. Today is a perfect day for a giveaway since it’s my birthday (and the first day of winter).

Leave a comment on this post and I will draw one winner.

Even if you have never used Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft products, they are really easy to work with. You can find numerous examples of inspiration and tips on their blog and website.

{ Peace Joy Love - Mixed Media Canvas }

I have a project on Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog today. I created this mixed media canvas. Step by step photos are on the blog HERE, including all the supplies. I hope you check it out.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut my own handwriting using iCraft sheets from Therm O Web and I added glitter over the top. I love it and can’t wait for Christmas decorations to go up.

{ Scrapbook Circle October Kit–News Flash }

I love, love, love News Flash Kit from Scrapbook Circle this moth. My printer ink went out the day the kit arrived and I had just received a big order of photos from PostalPix. So yes, all of these have Instagram photos on them.

One of the challenges was to use triangles on a layout and this is what I came up with. I didn’t realize I loved triangles so much.

Cute Daniela Dobson

My favorite technique was to use my triangle template, created in Silhouette Studio, and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos.

Triangle template Silhouette Studio Daniela Dobson

On this layout I talked about creating a visual triangle using various embellishments. This kit comes with Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic Remarks Stickers, 8 pages of them. I used them to create that visual triangle on my page.

Summer mornings Daniela Dobson

In my layout I created the two obvious visual triangles with the circles and the hearts.

Ok, one last one before I go. This one will go live on the Scrapbook Circle blog in the morning and it is created using Crate On Trend Border Stickers. Love them.

How is that for a total layout overload (and Instagram photos)? Have a great night!

P.S. The November kit is awesome and a full kit reveal will be on November 25! If you just can’t wait I have a sneak peek right now.
