{ 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Technique Tuesday }

Hi and welcome to 25 Days of Christmas Tags organized by Tracey McNeely.

Tracey McNeely has been doing the 25 Days of Christmas Tags during the Christmas time for past eight years. There are lots of guests and giveaways along the way! To find all the info and how you can win some awesome prizes check out her blog HERE.

Today Technique Tuesday DT is sharing their tags made using Technique Tuesday products.

Here are the tags I created using Perfect Poinsettia Stamp Set.

I cut the tags using my Silhouette Studio. I stamped the Poinsettias in black ink and "loosely" watercolored the images. I added a different sentiment to the tags from the same set.

12 tags blog

I am so happy to be joining Ellen Hutson and team this year for the 12 Tags of Christmas with a feminine twist. This is my first year participating and I am super excited.
Each day, December 1-12,there will be two designers sharing tags created on a similar theme, technique, color palette, etc. with the same company focus. Todays theme is color.

Here are the colors for my tag.

For my tag I started with Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Deco Foil Transfer sheets in Emerald Watercolor. I used a laminator to add the foil to the transfer get. The tags are created and cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
For The stocking, I used Prismacolor pencils to color the images. For my touch of gray I added some washi tape and twine.

{ 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Technique Tuesday }

Hi and welcome to 25 Days of Christmas Tags organized by Tracey McNeely. Today Technique Tuesday DT is sharing their tags made using Technique Tuesday products. Tracey McNeely has been doing the 25 Days of Christmas Tags during the Christmas time for past six years.  There are lots of guests and giveaways along the way! To find all the info and how you can win some awesome prizes check out her blog HERE.

I started by die cutting a white background with Postage Card Crafting Dies. I layered that with Memo Pad Card - Steel Dies die cut from gold polka dot vellum. I added two different pieces if washi tape to the white base so that it shows through the vellum. Ribbon and Holly Crafting Dies are die cut from several different pieces of cardstock and patterned paper. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Classic Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamps.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Shades of Fall }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Shades of Fall!

Our challenge starts today, October 16, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, October 22, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between October 16-22. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

This time I did not make a card. I was looking on Pinterest for a teacher gift idea and I came across these little mini coffee cups. Looks like they were really popular last year in the Stampin’ Up world, but I totally missed them. I fell in love and had to get some and make cute little gifts.

I stamped my white cardstock with Cover-a-card Broken Chainlink and added Cover-a-Card Wood Grain with some color shine. Then I added a strip of patterned paper at the top. There might be a pattern out there, but I just traced my cup on a piece of paper to make the template. I will transfer it into my silhouette so I can cut it in the future.

I used a leaf from Hydrangea Set Die to cut two leaves, one from a scrap piece of fabric and another one from vellum. I broke one of my Sizzix Big Shot plates while I was in the process of embossing the leaf. I made the wrong sandwich. It was time anyway. I hade them for ever and they were looking pretty bad. Amazon has them on sale right now Sizzix Accessory - Cutting Pads, Standard, 1 Pair ($6.59).
I used Circle Greeting Cutout set for the tag. I punched the scalloped circle first and then taped the die to the middle and die cut the saying. I backed it with brown cardstock.
I stamped the Striped Banner several times and tucked them behind the tag with the leaves.

I pretty much did the same thing with the tag that I cut out from the rest of the stamped cardstock. I added a little doily on the bottom. You could add a little note to this with the gift.

What is inside you ask? Some very delicious chocolate I found. Caramel Brownie. Four of them fit perfectly. Just enough for a little treat. These little cups can be filled with whatever you want and they are perfect for any occasion.

They are delicious!

Season's Greetings tags by Daniela Dobson

Each tag is stamped with cover-a-card Screen. I added stars from Christmas Trees stamp set in gold and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. The trees are die cut and stamped with this new Hero Arts ink I got from Emma’s Paperie, love it. Aren’t those trees adorable?

I added a strip of patterned paper to the bottom of the tag, added the die cut and stamped tree using 3D foam squares. A strip of washi tape I got recently from Lawn Fawn is at the top. To finish it off, I die cut the snowflakes from glitter paper and added them to the washi tape with some jewels. The sentiment is from Christmas Trees stamp set.
