{ October Studio AE sneak peek and a layout }

Ready for Technique Tuesday October Studio AE sneak peek? Here it is. I love this stamp set and so will you!

I created one more layout I created with September Studio AE Family Is. I have been playing with my Chevron template that I made and cut out with my Cricut Expression. I would love to share it, but I don't know how to make a SVG file. When I do, I will share.

This layout has a mixture of different patterned papers by My Mind's Eye, Sassafras Lass and Studio Calico, some brand new Elle's Studio tags and Smooch Spritz.
I stamped "cherish" with Chestnut ink that I cut out and completed my title with letter stickers.
The stars are made with Ice Rink Smooch Spritz and a special star mask I have. I will share on here soon, but if you can't wait check out my post on Clearsnap blog.

The Grasshopper ink matched the papers perfectly. I love that star from Friends Through Thick and Thin stamp set. I use my exacto knife to cut it out. "So grateful for my Son" is stamped on a tag. I love this stamp set and that I can use it for so many different occasions.
I used a sketch by Jessy Christopher.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great Tuesday.

{ Technique Tuesday Stamp Party }

Hi everyone!
Welcome to the Technique Tuesday Stamp Party!
This month, the Stamping Techs are coming together for a stamp party of sorts.
Each of us dug into our stashes of Technique Tuesday stamps this month and grabbed the newest Technique Tuesday stamp set we own. For today’s hop, we are using those stamps.

Technique Tuesday offers a whole bunch of clear stamps. All of TT’s stamps are high-quality photopolymer. You can check them out by going to the Technique Tuesday Web site.

Here is the card I made.

I used Friends Through Thick and Thin as my stamp. I did sneak in Love Always Wins by Ali Edwards. It was in my scrap pile, left over from another project. I adhered a piece of cardstock in the middle to cover up the words that were there and only used the "frame". I love the postage stamp border. I used my 1/8" hole punch to punch around the edge. The frame is stamped with Guava ink and the "Friends Forever" sentiment with Grasshopper ink.

Be sure to check out the blogs of everyone taking part in today’s blog hop.

{ Impression Obsession Zenspirations Blog Hop }

Impression Obsession introduced a new line of stamps in our new Fall-Winter catalog called Zenspirations, designed by Joanne Fink.  Today, our Design Team is having a Zenspirations Blog Hop.
 You will start at the Impression Obsession blog . Leave a comment on all the blogs to win a $25 Gift Certificate.  The drawing will be held at 10 p.m. tonight.

To take a closer look at all the images, please see our  IO catalog and turn to page 60.  You will find a great selection of Fall and Winter stamps for every need!

Here is my card created with What A Hoot CL339 stamp and Greeting Card Sentiments CL342.

This card is only 4 x 4". (Once again) I used scraps that were left on my desk. Once I looked through my "cute" container (someone mentioned I should take a photo of this container, and I will) I found this flower, all put together with the twine! How perfect, and it matches the card. I tied the twine around the cardstock and added a little Washi tape pennant.
I colored the stamped image with Watercolor crayons. The Blackbird Fluid Chalk ink is permanent after heat set. The sentiment is stamped on patterned paper with Chestnut ink and I used 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web to adhere it to the card.
Pretty easy card. I will have to make more to send out to my friends.

{ Card Patterns Sketch 133 }

I made this card last night using Technique Tuesday stamps and Card Patterns Sketch 133.
I stamped the patterned paper with  Harlequin Harmony and Clearsnap Top Boss Watermark Ink. I heat embossed it with Top Boss Embossing Powder.

The butterflies are stamped with the same stamp in Clearsnap ColorBox Premium Dye Ink: Bubblegum. I added little buttons and twine.
I stamped the sentiment from Loving Words by Ali Edwards in Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Dye Ink: Mudslide that I cut out. I inked all the paper edges with Clearsnap Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink: Toffee.

I used my  Sticky Strip Runner by Therm O Web to adhere the crape paper streamer. I would add more now over the ruffled crepe paper, but I stitched this to the card and additional adhesive was not necessary.

I love to use the Sticky Dots Adhesive by Therm O Web for my chipboard. I peeled the backing, placed my chipboard wrong side down on the dots, and replaced the backing. I flipped the whole thing over so I can use my bone folder to gently rub over the adhesive. My chipboard piece is totally covered.

Have a great Sunday!
