This month’s theme is Holiday gifts. I made this ornament to give to a friend.

Samantha Walker Supplies:
Snowflake

I did, I used one little snowflake file to create this ornament. I resized the snowflake to 3.5 inches tall. I offset the snowflake so that I have a nice outline. I cut three copies of each. 

I sprayed the base with Heidi Swapp color shine in Tropicana Teal and the snowflake in Tinsel and a touch of White.

I scored all of them down the middle so they can fold. I adhered the snowflake to the base using Sticky Dot Runner by Therm O Web. That is some strong adhesive. Then, I adhered them to each other so you have three sides to the snowflake.

I think it would look great four of them together, too. I added a pin to the top and bottom, and tied some twine. I love how it turned out. Really easy and beautiful gift for anyone.

This month’s theme is Thankful. I made a little Thank You gift bag that can be filled up with favorite treats for that special someone.

I cut the bag from brown cardstock and the panels from Traditions paper collection. The leaves are from the free cut file. I mirrored them to the right and then weld the two together. They can be used for a border. I added them as a decorative element on this bag.

I stamped the sentiment on patterned paper and cut it into a banner. I added a tag and another leaf to the bow. For a finishing touch I added these colored pearls to the bag.

This month's theme is Halloween! I made Halloween treat bags using some bags I sewed together and Samantha’s Silhouette files.

Samantha Walker Supplies:

Clearsnap and Ranger ink

Parchment paper

I made the bags out of parchment paper. I cut mine 4 1/4 x 10 inches, then I fold it in half and machine stitch the sides.

I stamped the frame in orange on one bag and a different frame in black on the other one, using Booti-ful Cameos stamp set. Just make sure the ink is dry before you continue decorating the bag.

I cut the border of skulls in half and resized it to 4 1/4” and adhered it to the front using 3D Foam Squares.

For the second bag I cut the bottom of a a2 card crescent closure halloween webs and used it as a border. I backed it with black cardstock.

To finish the bags I added twine and stamped a spider and “boo” on some tags. The treat bags are filled with candy corn, my favorite.

Out theme this month is Mix and Match Collections. I decided to mix and match Samantha’s paper collection with her clear and rubber stamps.

Here is my card.

I started by stamping the Leafy Background with VersaMark ink on white cardstock and heat embossing with white embossing powder.

I sprayed the cardstock with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Tropicana Teal. Once it was dry I adhered it to a piece of patterned paper from Giddy Up Girl collection and that was my card base.

I stampeded tow different doilies from Doilies & Lace stamp set on white cardstock that I cut out.

The two doilies were stacked on top of each other. I added a brad to the smaller, pink one and used 3D Foam adhesive to add dimension. The sentiment is from Buntings and Banners stamp set. I just cut it into a banner and tucked it under the small doily.

I made a layout. This was from our recent visit to Fort Worth Stockyards.

I created the background by combining different size stars, free file from out June blog hop. This is what it looks like.

 

 

I combined two different paper collections, Giddy Up Boy and Traditions. They worked so well together. I used 3D Foam Adhesive to add dimension to some of the stickers and the die cut star. I added sequins from my own stash and a button flair from {A Flair for Buttons}. I couldn’t resist the stars.

{ Samantha Walker and JustRite blog hop }

Hi and welcome to our blog hop. There are going to be two blog hops, one today and one tomorrow.

Here is what I created.

I used All Boy stamp set and Giddy Up Boy Collection papers. The yellow patterned paper is stamped with a diamond pattern from Pattern Basics stamp set.
I stamped the boat with blue ink on white cardstock and colored the sails with watercolor crayons. I cut the sails out and adhered them to the base boat using 3D Foam Adhesive by Therm O Web. I doted the dots with Crystal Lacquer.
I stamped the sentiment on one of the sticker tags that came with the Giddy Up Boy Collection paper. The little ticket is from Pattern Basics stamp set. I just cut it out, folded in half and stapled it to the card.

I made a Summer mini album.

The album base is made from index cards that I purchased several years ago.

I cut a strip of patterned paper for each index card.

I embellished each page with stickers, chipboard embellishments and brads. I will be adding a 1.5” x 2” photo to each page.
