{ Impression Obsession - Old Is New }

Hello and welcome to another Old is New blog post.

With such a huge collection of wonderful stamps from so many artists, sometimes the older stamps in the Impression Obsession catalog find their way out of the spotlight. We don't want them to be forgotten, so from now on you'll be seeing our team feature them regularly. We hope you're inspired!

Here is the card I created using Riding Pretty stamp set, Bicycle Set dies, Gingham Tab, and Striped Washi Tape.

First, I stamped the background with Vintage Briar Rose Background using Banana ink. I layered a journaling card and a tag. Stamped and die cut the bike that I colored using Prismacolor Pencils. I used 3D Foam Adhesive for the flowers.

I created a card using Henrietta the Hedgehog Stamp Set.

I had so much fun creating this card. I stamped the main three images from the stamp, randomly, on white cardstock base. I used Prismacolor pencils (and Gamsol) to color all the images. This new white, smooth cardstock I am using by Gina K Designs makes coloring so much easier.
The little blue flower is from Things Change Stamp Set.

{ Technique Tuesday Cherry Blossom stamp set }

Hello and happy Tuesday. I am sharing one more card I created with Cherry Blossoms Clear Stamps and Cherry Blossoms Crafting Die.

This is another easy card using scraps laying around my desk. I used Prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color the image.

{ 12 TAGS OF CHRISTMAS WITH A FEMININE TWIST }

I am so happy to be joining Ellen Hutson and team this year for the 12 Tags of Christmas with a feminine twist. This is my first year participating and I am super excited.
Each day, December 1-12,there will be two designers sharing tags created on a similar theme, technique, color palette, etc. with the same company focus. Todays theme is color.

Here are the colors for my tag.

For my tag I started with Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Deco Foil Transfer sheets in Emerald Watercolor. I used a laminator to add the foil to the transfer get. The tags are created and cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
For The stocking, I used Prismacolor pencils to color the images. For my touch of gray I added some washi tape and twine.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – You’re An Animal }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – You’re An Animal (any type of animal).

Here is a cute little card I created using Beary Sweet stamp set and matching dies.

Isn’t he adorable? I love that this stamp set is perfect for any occasion. You can just change what the bear is holding. I loved coloring him with Prismacolor pencils.

I layered several different pieces of washi tape on the white background and I painted over it with Gesso to tone it down. I used one of the die cut frames from All-in-One Frames - Rectangles 2. The die cut bear is adhered to the card with 3D foam squares from Therm O Web.

Here is a card I created.

I stitched around the circle with thread and stamped and die cut Sammy. I colored him with Prismacolor pencils. He is adhered to the circle with 3D foam squares from Therm O Web. The background is pretty simple with a green journaling card from Elle’s Studio. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom and stamped and die cut a little flower from the stamp set.

Here is what I created.

I used Caught on Camera Stamp Set and Start with a Smile Stamp Set for this card. We have several fun stamps this month with different cameras and I love them.

I colored the cameras with Prismacolor pencils. The background is painted with acrylic paint and whipped spackle and a stencil.

For the tag I used our new Toppers DIY Steel Die. They are perfect for making different tags.

{ Phyllis & Finn the Fish Stamp Set from Technique Tuesday }

Have you seen Phyllis & Finn? Aren’t they adorable? They are our June addition to Animal House Collection - Phyllis & Finn the Fish Stamp Set. They come with matching die set.

I created an underwater scene with Phyllis & Finn that are colored with Prismacolor pencils. I used a polka dot mask and ink for the background. I die cut coral and shells for the bottom of the card. Coral is from DIY Steel Die - Small Fries. We have lots of fun fish designs this month.
