{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Happy Haunting }

Hello and welcome to our Impression Obsession challenge -Happy Haunting!

Here is my card.

Happy Halloween by Daniela Dobson

This is a very easy and quick card to make. All you need is orange and black cardstock and white ink. For my card I used Cover-a-Card Spider Web and white ink to stamp on black cardstock. I did use clear embossing powder and heat embossed the background.

The die is called Halloween Web and I cut it from orange cardstock. I used Sticky Dot Mini Runner to adhere all the little intricate pieces of the web.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Trick or Treat }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Trick or Treat.

Here is my card.

Happy Halloween by Daniela Dobson

I had fun making this card. I got a Misti recently and I have to tell you that I love it. It is so nice to know where you are stamping, especially with these large Cover-a-card background stamps. For this one I used black cardstock and Cover-a-card Spider Web background stamp. I used VersaMark ink and white embossing powder for the web. That was so easy stamping with the Misti. No guessing were to stamp. Look how wonderful that turned out.

For the tag, I used Cover-a-card Candy Cane Stripes background stamp, using a Misti, and I only stamped top and bottom edge. I added some black cardstock and orange washi. The pumpkins and the sentiment are from Retro Pumpkins stamp set along with the sentiment. I stamped two big ones and one small one, fussy cut them and layered them using 3D foam squares. I did the same with the Halloween banner.

{ Paper Pumpkin Decoration }

I wanted to share a fun little project I created recently after I saw an adorable pumpkin that Gina created for American Crafts. I have been looking for Heidi Swapp Marquee Love Halloween Pumpkin at Michaels, but I never found one. I decided to make my own.

I designed the pumpkin in my Silhouette Studio and cut it out from patterned paper. I hade some Halloween paper and embellishments left over that I purchased at Emma’s Paperie last year. The “boo” and “happy Halloween” are die cuts from Impression Obsession called Boo and Happy Halloween. They are die cut from glitter paper. The little ghost is from Mini Ghosts die.
Elle’s Studio came out with Halloween Acrylics and Glitter Foam pieces that I added to the pumpkin. There is also a Halloween Digital Cut File and I was able to cut some bats from glitter paper.
Everything here is from my stash, some old and some new items. I already added it to my mantle. I am thinking about adding ribbon to the back and maybe hanging it in my dinning room.

Let me know if anyone is interested in the pumpkin silhouette file and I will share. Make sure you check out Gina’s beautiful pumpkin.
