A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.
Warm wishes by Daniela Dobson
When I think of winterI think of snowflakes. It is pretty chilly around here so this was a perfect challenge. I used a Snowflake Background die and Snowflake Die set for the large snowflake. I used iCraft Adhesive from Therm O Web to add the glitter to the snowflake. The background is sprayed with color shine which makes the white snowflake background pop. The snowflake is attached to the inside of the card with 3D foam square from Therm O Web. The sentiment is from Winter Trees stamp set.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–last minute Holiday gifts }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – last minute Holiday gifts. Our challenge starts today, December 18, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, December 24, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between December 18-24. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

I created this shaker card ornament. This is similar to a shaker card I made, but much smaller.

Shaker ornament by Daniela Dobson

I used the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames die for the frame. The Evergreen Trees and Fir Trees were layered for the background. I added Sm. Deer to the front. Sm. Snowflake Set were cut for the background. Once again I used 3D foam strips from Therm O Web to layered the frame over the background patterned paper. It’s hanging in the tree and I love it.

Here is what I created with the December kit.

Love you by Daniela Dobson

I was inspired by the stars on some of the journaling cards from the kit. I used a large star mask and color shine for the background.  Plus, those colors tied in with the colors in the photo background. This was taken last week right after his haircut. If you follow me on Instagram, then you have seen this one. I added punched star shapes, star sequins and star stamps from Warmest Wishes stamp set and North Pole stamp set. The colors are perfect and everything always works so well together.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Clean & Simple Holiday cards }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Clean & Simple Holiday cards !

Our challenge starts today, December 4, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, December 10, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between December 4-10. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

December wishes by Daniela Dobson

This card took me less than five minutes to make. I should have timed myself. It took longer to find a sentiment that I wanted to use. Once all my supplies were ready, I was done in no time.

I have been wanting to use this Reindeer for a long time. Finally had a chance. I die cut him from this awesome pack of gold and silver foiled paper pack from DCWV that I found at Michaels and used my 40% off coupon.

I stamped the Wood Star on white cardstock and cut it out. The Reindeer is adhered over the star with 3D Foam Squares from Therm O Web. I stamped the December with the same ink and added “wishes” from Merry On in gold ink that I heat embossed.

{ CardMaker and Impression Obsession Blog Hop }

Welcome to the CardMaker and Impression Obsession Blog Hop!

Today the CardMaker Designers and the Impression Obsession Designers will be showing you some wonderful holiday projects featuring stamps and dies from Impression Obsession!

Peace by Daniela Dobson

My card uses only dies. I didn’t have a plan, but I know I wanted to make a shaker card using the new Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames die. It’s one die that cuts 6 different frames. I adhered two of the largest ones together to make a frame. I added 3D foam strips from Therm O Web. They are perfect because I can cut them to any size.

I created my background scene with Tree Line Die that I cut several times and layered on top of each other using 3D foam strips from Therm O Web. Then I cut snowflakes using Sm. Snowflake Set. I adhered them to the Kraft cardstock background.

I die cut the sentiment Peace from blue cardstock and adhered it straight to the acetate window using Zots Adhesive Dots from Therm O Web.

Peace close by Daniela Dobson

***Make sure and comment on each of the blogs in the hop!***

TWO winners will be randomly chosen to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate! You have until Thursday December 4th at Midnight CT to enter.

{a flair for buttons} and The Cut Shoppe Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our blog hop. Today we are sharing projects made with The Cut Shoppe cut files and {a flair for buttons} flair.

Here is my layout.

Love life by Daniela Dobson

I used Borderlines cut file for the heart and the scalloped border. The heart is backed with the patterned paper called Hello Sunshine. Actually, both sides of that paper are used here. The words of “you are my sunshine” are on the black background. Didn’t know I had it, love it, and it was perfect for this layout.
I added words from Words to Live by in the right lower corner. I added a flair button for the “o”. Another flair button is by the photo with “hello you are awesome”.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Holiday Greetings }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Holiday Greetings!

Our challenge starts today, November 20, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, November 26, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between November 20 - 26. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

I seriously had a hard time trying to figure out what stamps and dies to use. I was a little overwhelmed. I cleaned my desk and laid out all the holiday stamps and dies I had. Bad idea. Way too many choices.

Seasons greetings by Daniela Dobson

I started by stamping white cardstock with Candy Cane Stripes. I wanted to use nontraditional colors.  Then I used my Cover-a-Card Large Dots to stamp on vellum using gold ink. I used clear embossing powder to set the ink. I added and layered several stars at the top so that they look like a banner. Scalloped Star, Small Solid Music Star, Music Star. 3D foam squares are perfect to give the stars some dimension. I die cut Season’s Greetings from the same cardstock color as the card base.

{ Your Everyday Stamps }

My friend Ashley Harris designed some new stamps and asked me to make some projects using them. Here is what I created.

This first card combines several different stamps. I used watercolor crayons to color in the circles.

Thank you by Daniela Dobson

Here are two project life cards that I can use on future layouts.

PL cards by Daniela Dobson

For the layout, once again, I combined several different stamp sets. The circle outline is stamped with orange ink and then I added a solid turquoise stamped circle. The Journaling spots are stamped on white cardstock and cut out. I used them as layers behind the photo and the patterned paper.

Today was amazing by Daniela Dobson

Here are the stamp sets I got to play with and use on my projects.

{ December 25 mini album }

I create projects for Emma’s Paperie every week. We have a ton of designer inspirations on Emma’s Paperie blog. Come and check it out.

I created this little mini album using Basic Grey Evergreen Collection.You can see a full list of supplies on the blog post HERE.

December 25 mini album by Daniela Dobson

This is the same album base I used for a different project back in 2012. It’s very easy to put together and it’s a cut file by Lori Whitlock. You will need a silhouette cameo for the album.

December 25 mini album inside by Daniela Dobson

I used Celebrating December - Memory Keepers Studio - October 2014 from Technique Tuesday for the inside pages.

December 25 mini album open by Daniela Dobson

The tags tuck into the pocket and you can add your journaling on the back. I repeat my design on all the tags changing out a few bits and pieces.

December 25 mini album tags by Daniela Dobson

I tie a ribbon around the album to keep it closed which can easily be removed to view the inside pages. You don’t even have to untie the bow. It just slips off and on.

Some other items I made for Emma’s Paperie and you can find a link for all the supplies for each card in the title.
