{ Gina K. Designs & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to Gina K. Designs and CardMaker blog hop. Today we are showcasing cards and/or other paper-crafting projects made using Home for the Holidays StampTV Kit.

The Home for the Holidays StampTV Kit is full of stamps, patterned paper, card stock and dies to help you create beautiful card projects throughout the autumn season and beyond!

The color palette includes Red Velvet, Turquoise Sea, Jelly Bean Green, Christmas Pine, Charcoal Brown, Kraft,  along with Ivory accents.

Here is what I created.

For this first card I used Christmas Magic stamp set (fairy) and Home for the Holidays stamp set (snowflake)

She is colored using my Prismacolor pencils. I used the matching die to cut her out and 3D foam squares for dimension. I just love those snowflakes. They were stamped matching the colors in the patterned paper and die cut. I added sequins to the center of each one.

My second card uses Christmas Greenery stamp set. I used all the little bits to stamp the background and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.

The trees are stamped at the bottom with white ink and heat embossed using white embossing powder. I layered one of the patterned papers with Kraft cardstock and added sequins.

{ Jillibean Soup and CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to Jillibean Soup and CardMaker blog hop. Today we are showcasing cards and/or other paper-crafting projects made using Christmas stamps and shaker cards.

Here is what I created using Peace, Joy & Love stamp set (houses and sentiment), Snow Globe stamp set (trees), Jar card base and Jar shaker pouch.

Peace by Daniela Dobson

For my card I used one of the cards as my template to color in the background. I traced the jar from the front opening to the inside of the card and placed the opening of the other card over the traced image. I colored the opening using distress inks. I stamped and heat embossed the stars. I stamped and colored the houses and stamped the trees.

Peace step 1 by Daniela Dobson

I created two different hills for the bottom of the jar by cutting out cardstock and tracing the bottom shape of the jar. I used 3D Foam Squares to layer the hills, houses and trees.

Peace close inside by Daniela Dobson

Since I used non traditional colors for my scene I used sequins from my stash to match. The jar pouches have adhesive on the back and line up perfectly through the opening of the card front.  I used an awl to punch a hole on each side of the jar top for the twine.

Peace close by Daniela Dobson

This was really fun to make. Let me know if you have any questions.

{ Bella BLVD & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to Bella Blvd and CardMaker blog hop. Today we are showcasing cards and/or other paper-crafting projects made using the Illustrated Faith products.

Here is what I created. I love Shanna’s Favorite Paint Set and wanted to incorporate them into my card.

Hello by Daniela Dobson

I started with a sticker sheet that I cut down to the size of my card.

Hello step 1 by Daniela Dobson

I added white gesso over the top. Then I added pink paint.

Hello step 2 by Daniela Dobson

Once it was all dry I added my embellishments from Friendship Die Cuts.  I layered them using 3D foam squares. For the buterrfly I added paint to watercolor paper and stamped the butterfly from Fly Free stamp set with Black Eyed Pea ink. I fussy cut the butterfly and added some enamel hearts.

Hello close 2 by Daniela Dobson

Here is one more look at the card. I love how vibrant the paints are. I can’t wait to use them again.

{ Impression Obsession & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to CardMaker Design Team and Impression Obsession Blog Hop.
Here is my project.

Birthday Wishes by Daniela Dobson

I started with a Painted Lines background layered with Whipped Spackle added through a stencil. I stamped and fussy cut Rose Set 1. I adhered the rose with 3D foam squares from Therm O Web. For the Wishes Die I used iCraft Adhesive Tape and only added it to the bottom of the word before I die cut it and added glitter.  It’s a fun little technique. I stamped “birthday” from the Wishes stamp set and added Nuvo Crystal Drops.

{ PLUS Corp & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to CardMaker Design Team and PLUS Corp of America Blog Hop. Today I am sharing a project I created with a Deco Roller – Butterflies stamp from PLUS Corp of America.

Love life by Daniela Dobson

I started my card by stamping on the bottom of the blue cardstock and then applying pink embossing powder. The roller ink is black and I wanted to change the color to match the colors I had picked out for my card. I used bits and pieces from my “scraps” stash. It’s a little container on my desk that is filled with little goodies like the ones I used on my card.

Photo Jul 24, 3 05 01 PM

I used Therm O Web 3D foam adhesive to pop up the heart. I stamped and heat embossed the butterflies on white cardstock, as well. I fussy cut one of the butterflies that I added to the tag. The “love life” tag is from Elle’s Studio. The white tag with chevrons is something I created in Silhouette Studio and cut out. It’s one of the free files available under my freebies section.
