Here is my card.

For this card I used Baby Bird Set stamp set. I stamped the images using VersaMark ink that I embossed with white embossing powder. I watercolored the images and the background. The sentiment is from the same set stamped using black ink.

Here is my card.

For this card I used Peony Set stamp set. I stamped the images using black ink that I fussy cut.. A little 3D foam squares to pop up some of the flowers. The background is stamped with Rose Leaves Cover-a-Card background stamp. The sentiment is from Flower Greetings stamp set.

For this card I used Rose Blooms stamp set. I stamped and fussy cut the images. A little 3D foam squares to pop up some of the flowers. Couple of tags, splatters and that is it! The sentiment is from Flower Greetings stamp set.

{ A Little Prickly Stamp Set from Technique Tuesday }

Hello and happy Monday. I wanted to share a card I created with a brand new stamp set from Technique Tuesday called Little Prickly Stamp Set. If you follow my Instagram you saw that I shared a little video on how I watercolored the cactus.

Here is a little close up of the background. I used Whipped Spackle and a mask for the background. Once it was dry I added purple Watercolor Crayon.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – I Adore you (Valentine) }

Hello and welcome to the our Impression Obsession challenge – I adore you (Valentine).

Here is my card.

I had so much fun creating this one layer card. I used all the shades of pink ink in our collection: Blush, Rose, Cherry, Bubblegum, Peony and Ruby. I stamped various elements from the set in the middle left and a few lower right.

I used 3D foam squares to raise the front panel and to give the card dimension. In addition, I splattered some watercolor droplets in pink.

This is the fun stamp set I used Love Elements.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – something shiny }

Hello and welcome to the new year and a new set of challenges. For our first challenge of 2018 we have something shiny. I am working on CHA projects right now and I am surrounded by Deco Foil. If you are not familiar with it, you need to check it out.

Here is the card I created with shiny background using a mask, Deco Foil Transfer Gel, Deco Foil and my laminator. If you are interested I can do a video on how this is done.

I used You're in My Heart stamp set for the large heart and Floral Heart Set for the flowers.

I let the heart hang of the edge a bit and cut the extra off. It gave the card a little more interest. For the sentiment I die cut “hello” with Hello die.

The flowers are watercolored and fussy cut. I used 3D foam squares to add dimension and tuck a twine bow under the flowers.

{ Elle's Studio 2018 DT }

Hi and Happy New Year!
I have some exciting news to share!! I was asked to stay on the Elle’s Studio DT for another year. How exciting is that. I am joined with these wonderful ladies.  I have been on the Contributing Team since October 2012 working with all the exclusive Kits, then joined the DT full time in 2015. Back in 2010, I was on the first DT for Elle’s Studio and I am very happy to be working with Elle’s Studio again.

Today I have my very fist blog post of the year highlighting the brand new Thank You Stamp and Thank You Puffy Stickers, which are perfect for thanking friends and family after a busy holiday season!

I used white cardstock for the base of the cards with patterned paper from the Family Fun 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack cut slightly smaller than the base for a white border.

For the first card, I layered darker embellishments from the Family Fun Bits and Pieces and a large heart that I adhered using dimensional adhesive. “A note to say” from the Thank You Stamp was stamped in black ink on white cardstock and cut out to fit above the “I appreciate you so much” Thank You Puffy Sticker.

For the second card, I used lighter colors in the same style as the first card. I layered the “from the bottom of my heart” Thank You Puffy Sticker over the Family Fun Blank Label at the top, then stamped “thank you” in black in underneath the label.

Both cards are embellished with twine in matching colors from my stash and a little puffy heart from the Family Fun Puffy Stickers.
