Here is my layout.

I received lots of new products from Emma’s Paperie that I couldn’t wait to use. I started with a watercolor page where I scribbled Gelatos and added water. I die cut several labels using Label die. I ended up using only two. One at the top and one at the bottom. I mixed in some Elle’s Studio labels and stamped sentiments from the new Pure Magic stamp set. I added some brand new items from exclusive Elle’s Studio June kit that will be released in a few hours. The colors matched my layout perfectly and I couldn’t resist. Come back at 10 am for a new blog post with all the new items.

Alex has four more days of school left. I can’t believe that Kindergarten is over and he will be in 1st grade. The school year just flew by! This is photo of him from Friday morning. He is wearing his Falcon of Character shirt, an award he won at school.

Welcome to our May 2014 Blog Hop. Today we are featuring projects made with Today Circles - Studio AE - May 2014.

Here is my layout.

These circle stamps are a perfect match for our Circles - DIY Steel Dies. I stamped them on white cardstock and then die cut the circles. In addition to the large circles, there are these tiny words that I used to add throughout the layout. I even used them as words in my journaling. I am using lots of new supplies that I received recently from Emma’s Paperie: American Crafts, Studio Calico and My Mind’s Eye.

Our Today Circles - Studio AE - May 2014- is out and I wanted to share a card I made with the set.

This stamp set consists of 14 clear stamps on a 4" x 6" storage sheet.

I wanted to share one more card I made using Technique Tuesday stamps shared on Technique Tuesday blog.

I used DIY Steel Dies to die-cut different elements. I created the circle with the Circles dies, the label with the Label die, the flag with the flag from the Story Card dies and the "happy" word with our Straight Talk - Happy die. The "Mother's Day" phrase was stamped with the Say It - Happy stamp set.

{ May Studio AE Sneak Peek, Mixed Media Monday and Silhouette Cameo }

I have a quick peek to share with you today of our new May Studio AE.
We will have a full reveal on May 1.

Today we have a new feature on Elle’s Studio blog called Mixed Media Monday. Here is what I created for this feature. If you would like to know how I made this you will need to go to the blog. SILHOUETTE STUDIO

I have recently updated my Silhouette Cameo software to the new version – V3…  I subscribe to Kay’s blog Clever Someday and read about all the problems with the new release, so I waited. She has worked with Silhouette to get some problematic issues fixed, and she has a ton of info on her blog if you have any questions. I was really worried, but so far no problems. I was able to design and cut without any issues.

All my FREE FILES that I have created are still OK and you can open them no matter what software version you have. The new ones I create I will save as Legacy (V2) and you will be able to open them in any version.

{ March Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday }

Welcome to our March 2014 Blog Hop. Today we are featuring projects made with  Wow - Studio AE - March 2014.

Here is my layout.

I have lots of these photos of Alex at various building workshops and this stamp set was perfect. I stamped various sentiments on white cardstock and cut them out. The patterned paper is brand new from Echo Park That’s My Boy collection from Emma’s Paperie. I added some Elle’s Studio tags and Heidi Swapp acrylic stars.

I used the Grid stamp and a Story Card steel die as my background for the star and sentiment. There are little stars, sequins and enamel dots scattered throughout the page. “Life adventures” sentiment is from Classic Ali Edwards stamp set.
The flair button is from Hashtag Boy Flair set by {A Flair For Buttons}.
