{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Masculine }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Masculine!

Our challenge starts today, June 5, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, June 11, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between June 5 - 11. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my card.

Happy birthday by Daniela Dobson

I love how this turned out. I used several different stamp sets for the stamped rows (see the links below).
For this card I started at the bottom. After each stamped row I added Zips™ between the stamping. Zips are clear adhesive lines. They are ultra thin and about 1/8″ wide.  These thin lines of glue are perfect for paper strips, ribbon, paper borders and other long embellishments, or in this case Flower Soft. Cut the Zips to the desired length. Apply to cardstock and peal top layer.  Use your finger to press Flower Soft into the adhesive.
I layered Elle’s Studio tags, a die cut star and added a flair from {A Flair For Buttons} to the center.

That is all from me. Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created.

I hope you play along.

{ Summer Fun with Zips, Bella Blvd and A Flair For Buttons }

Today I am sharing a layout I created for Therm O Web using their Zips. They are clear adhesive lines. I love them, and the best part, they are ultra thin.

I have step by step photos and instructions on Therm O Web Blog. I would love it if you stopped by.

You can see how I used Zips here where I added the embellishments in a straight line. Check out the tutorial Therm O Web blog.

I was recently asked to join {A Flair For Buttons} DT. I am really excited about that! You will see more fun flair on my layouts. The ones here are from Summertime Flair 1 and All Boy Flair 1.

I used July Studio AE – Label Maker and June Studio AE – Fun In The Sun. My photos are layered over Story Cards from Technique Tuesday.

Live the dream by Daniela Dobson

For this card I pulled out one of my favorite older stamps called Riding Pretty. I colored the bicycle with Prismacolor pencils and I cut the bicycle out. There are different things that you can put in the basket. I chose the roses that I stamped, colored and cut. I added Flower Soft and adhered it to the basket using 3D Foam squares.

The blue patterned paper is stamped with Grunge Circle Star. I stamped the Grunge Star, which is a perfect match for Grunge Circle Star, on white cardstock in red ink. The stars are cut out and adhered to some of the circles.

The tag is stamped with Cover-a-card Distressed Lines and adhered to the card using 3D Foam Squares. I stamped the banner from This is My Country and added Flower Soft to the stamped image. I cut the banner out and added it under the bow. The sentiment is stamped and cut out so it fits in that area.
