{ Bella BLVD & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to Bella Blvd and CardMaker blog hop. Today we are showcasing cards and/or other paper-crafting projects made using the Illustrated Faith products.

Here is what I created. I love Shanna’s Favorite Paint Set and wanted to incorporate them into my card.

Hello by Daniela Dobson

I started with a sticker sheet that I cut down to the size of my card.

Hello step 1 by Daniela Dobson

I added white gesso over the top. Then I added pink paint.

Hello step 2 by Daniela Dobson

Once it was all dry I added my embellishments from Friendship Die Cuts.  I layered them using 3D foam squares. For the buterrfly I added paint to watercolor paper and stamped the butterfly from Fly Free stamp set with Black Eyed Pea ink. I fussy cut the butterfly and added some enamel hearts.

Hello close 2 by Daniela Dobson

Here is one more look at the card. I love how vibrant the paints are. I can’t wait to use them again.

{ StencilGirl/Impression Obsession Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to StencilGirl/Impression Obsession Blog Hop.

Here is a card I created using StencilGirl Striped Circles 6 stencil.

I stamped the background with Painted Stripes Cover-a-card Background stamp. I know, It's hard to see, but it's there. I wanted it to be light. I used white gesso to paint over the card front. I used Ranger Distress stain to add some blue color to the background. Love those layers. Then, I applied Whipped Spackle with  Striped Circles 6 stencil. Once that was dry, I added pink watercolor and pink splatters.

I stamped the flower from Fun Flowers on watercolor paper three times. I painted the layers with watercolor and then cut each section out. I layered them with 3D Foam squares from Therm O Web.

 The circles are from All In One Frames - Circles. I arranged them and then added the fussy cut flower. I die cut Hello from black foam that is backed with adhesive.

{ Mood Board Challenge }

I wanted to share a layout I created based on a Mood Board I created, as well. It’s for a crop this weekend and I am one of the hostesses. If you would like to join us there is still time. Stop by Victoria Marie Facebook group.

Everyday 2 by Daniela Dobson

I went through my Pinterest boards and used some of my favorite photos and shapes and added color swatches in my Adobe Photoshop.

Pinterest Mood Board by Daniela Dobson copy

For my layout I used all Elle’s Studio products. I just went through my stash and pulled all the colors from the mood board. I added some color to the background and used my favorite Whipped Spackle and a triangle stencil to add some triangles. I designed the spiral flower and a triangle background in my Silhouette Studio. You can find the tutorial for the spiral flower on my YouTube channel. Free triangle template can be found under my FREEBIES.

Everyday close by Daniela Dobson

I used little notes, tags, die cuts and stamps. The buttons are from Pink Paislee. I just love how it turned out.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Trick or Treat }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Trick or Treat.

Here is my card.

Happy Halloween by Daniela Dobson

I had fun making this card. I got a Misti recently and I have to tell you that I love it. It is so nice to know where you are stamping, especially with these large Cover-a-card background stamps. For this one I used black cardstock and Cover-a-card Spider Web background stamp. I used VersaMark ink and white embossing powder for the web. That was so easy stamping with the Misti. No guessing were to stamp. Look how wonderful that turned out.

File Sep 14, 6 09 40 PM

For the tag, I used Cover-a-card Candy Cane Stripes background stamp, using a Misti, and I only stamped top and bottom edge. I added some black cardstock and orange washi. The pumpkins and the sentiment are from Retro Pumpkins stamp set along with the sentiment. I stamped two big ones and one small one, fussy cut them and layered them using 3D foam squares. I did the same with the Halloween banner.

{ September 2016 Memory Keepers Studio by Technique Tuesday }

Our September release of Memory Keepers Studio – What’s Cooking and Fresh Cut Studio – Retro Labels is available now. Plus, check out all that is new and available for September.

Here is what I created with the set. I just made French Macarons so it was a perfect stamp set for a little gift. I have been making Macarons all summer and I am still working on making them look perfect. They are delicious and a special little treat.

Happiness by Daniela Dobson

I created a little tag using Story Card - DIY Steel Die. I stamped the lines from College Ruled stamp set and die cut the tag from Fresh Cut Studio – Retro Labels. I painted the rose on plain white cardstock using watercolor crayons.

Happiness box close by Daniela Dobson

The box and the inside liner I designed myself in Silhouette Studio. When I get an idea I just go for it. I just love that little program. This box fits 3 Macarons. For the outside I painted roses with leaves and added twine. I die cut the label from Mark It - DIY Steel Die. I recently lost a die, well, I couldn’t find it, still looking for it, which resulted in a total clean up and new storage for my dies. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen a video.

I even added a piece of parchment paper because I didn’t want to get the lid dirty.

Thanks for making it this far. I loved taking photos of this little project. Macarons are delicious. If you would like to give them a try this is the recipe I use from Martha Stewart French Macarons and chocolate ganache filling. These are about 1.5” in diameter and fit perfectly in the box.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Falling For You }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Falling For You (Fall colors).
Here is my card.

Thankful by Daniela Dobson

I used a Poinsettia Jar for this fall looking card, but it looks like any flower now that it’s painted orange. I used watercolor crayons and white cardstock. I used clear embossing powder to stamp and emboss the Poinsettia Jar. 3D Foam Squares from Therm O Web are adding dimension to the jar.
The background is clear embossing powder and Scratched Cover-a-card background. To the bottom I added Painted Lines in orange ink on Kraft cardstock and white cardstock. Thankful is stamped and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I fussy cut out the word.
I added some twine and enamel dots I created from Nuvo Crystal drops.
