Hi and welcome to our Impression Obsession challenge – Unlayered.
Here is a set of cards I created using Impression Obsession stamps, dies and Therm O Web Deco Foil. The challenge was less than 3 layers. This one is debatable. It’s a pretty simple card.
For many of us this is National Teacher Appreciation week along with this Saturday being National Nurse’s Day. Since both professions involve being caregivers of our children and loved ones it seems fitting we recognize them both! Thank you cards are perfect for anyone at any time.
I used a simple design on each card alternating colors and sentiments.
The big sentiments are die cut using Thanks die and Special die and then foiled via the laminator.
I used Thanks and Special stamp sets for the sentiments. The triangles are from Really Useful Stamps set that were heat embossed using white embossing powder.
If you would like to see more photos or step by step instructions I created a blog post on Therm O Web blog.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). Create a new project using Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog between May 4 – May 17. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.
Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created.
I hope you play along.

Hi and welcome to our Impression Obsession challenge – Last Minute Gifts.
I created these little gift bags that I shared on CardMaker blog yesterday. Totally last minute idea for sure, and who doesn’t have parchment paper in their pantry.
These are so easy to put together and fill with your favorite treats. I used parchemt paper to make the bags. I stitched up the sides with my sewing machine. You have seen me make bags like this before. The cute litte die cut is Patchwork Stocking and I stamped it with Mini Pattern 1 and Mini Patterns 2. I filled the bags with treats I bought at World Market, from Germany.

Today we are showcasking our Christmas Dies.
We have some beautiful new dies to share AND a Gift Certificates to give away!
The hop will run for 3 days (10/24/16 - 10/26/16) with a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day at 6am EST. Visit our fabulous IO Design Team’s blogs (only one comment per blog per day please) for a chance to win one of THREE $25 Gift Certificates!
I created three different gift card holders using our Gift Card Envelope and new dies. In addition, I am using ‘Tis The Season collection from Elle’s Studio.
For this first one, I embossed the front and stamped the background. I added twine with Holly leaves and branches from the Wreath Builder.

I really like this one. How fun is tat stamped background. It was really easy stamping using my Misti. That “Joy” die cut is cut from glitter foam that I got at a craft store years ago. It has adhesive on the back so it’s super easy.

This last one is fun! I made a little shaker ornament with the Christmas Circle Cutouts. I just used another circle die to get the border and backed it with foam for dimension. Filled the center with sequins.

I have a fun project on Therm O Web blog today using Deco Foil and Impression Obsession stamps and dies. You can see instructions and step by step photos on how I created these treat bags on the blog here. I hope you stop by.
Have a great Wednesday!
Our September release of Memory Keepers Studio – What’s Cooking and Fresh Cut Studio – Retro Labels is available now. Plus, check out all that is new and available for September.
Here is what I created with the set. I just made French Macarons so it was a perfect stamp set for a little gift. I have been making Macarons all summer and I am still working on making them look perfect. They are delicious and a special little treat.
I created a little tag using Story Card - DIY Steel Die. I stamped the lines from College Ruled stamp set and die cut the tag from Fresh Cut Studio – Retro Labels. I painted the rose on plain white cardstock using watercolor crayons.
The box and the inside liner I designed myself in Silhouette Studio. When I get an idea I just go for it. I just love that little program. This box fits 3 Macarons. For the outside I painted roses with leaves and added twine. I die cut the label from Mark It - DIY Steel Die. I recently lost a die, well, I couldn’t find it, still looking for it, which resulted in a total clean up and new storage for my dies. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen a video.
I even added a piece of parchment paper because I didn’t want to get the lid dirty.
Thanks for making it this far. I loved taking photos of this little project. Macarons are delicious. If you would like to give them a try this is the recipe I use from Martha Stewart French Macarons and chocolate ganache filling. These are about 1.5” in diameter and fit perfectly in the box.
Have a great Tuesday.
Hello! I have a blog post on CardMaker blog today with an altered paper coffee cup using Impression Obsession stamps and dies and Therm O Web adhesive. I hope you can stop by.
Have a great day!
Hi. I have a brand new project on Therm O Web blog today with step by step instructions that I would like you to check out. It’s a great gift idea for Mother’s Day or any occasion.
I used Deco Foil for this printed quote and made a little tag to go with the gift. Step by step instructions with photos and Therm O Web supplies are on the blog.
I am sharing a card and a treat bag with step by step instructions on Therm O Web blog today. I would love it if you check it out.
Check out my YouTube channel for a video of the card.
It’s my turn to share a project I created using Impression Obsession stamps and dies. Today I have a little altered and glittery frame and I only used dies.
The frame was hot pink and I painted it white. I die cut two Spring Wreaths from iCraft adhesive from Therm O Web. It’s sticky on both sides. You peel off the top liner and add glitter and peel off the bottom liner to adhere it. I die cut the Reindeer from iCraft Deco Foil white foam adhesive. It has adhesive on both sides, as well. I added gold Deco Foil. The “peace” is die cut from vellum and adhered to the reindeer.
The frame is about 4 x 4 inches. I added gold Deco Foil to the frame using iCraft Deco Foil liquid adhesive. I just used a make up sponge to add the adhesive to the frame and then added gold Deco Foil. I love how it turned out.

I am on Therm O Web blog today using Autumn Day collection by Photo Play Paper. I made a card and a little treat bag to be filled with yummy chocolate for a friend or that special someone. I designed the acorns in my Silhouette Studio. Please check out my post at Therm O Web blog for all the supplies and step by step instructions.
Don’t forget to check out my Card Kit Monday post and video from yesterday.
On Monday I received my first Scraptastic kit!! It’s beautiful. For November, I chose Ain’t No Sunshine kit and add on. You will be seeing projects from me with this kit.
Impression Obsession DT challenge is tomorrow and 25 days of tags from Technique Tuesday. See you then!
I am sharing a cute gift idea for that someone special in your life. Mother’s Day is coming up, Teacher’s and Nurse’s appreciation is next week. Step by step instructions are on Therm O Web blog today. I designed the box for two cups to fit. You can download the file at the bottom of this post.

Patterned paper panels for the box sides and a handle that you adhere together to the folded lines and the adhere the flaps to the inside of the box. Leave a comment on this post if you have any questions about the box or how to put it together.
It’s been crazy busy around here and Christmas is here in four days. I really try my best, but end up doing lots of things last minute. Hi and welcome to our Impression Obsession challenge – last minute Holiday gifts. Our challenge starts today, December 18, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, December 24, at 10 PM.
Create a new project using Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between December 18-24. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.
I created this shaker card ornament. This is similar to a shaker card I made, but much smaller.
I used the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames die for the frame. The Evergreen Trees and Fir Trees were layered for the background. I added Sm. Deer to the front. Sm. Snowflake Set were cut for the background. Once again I used 3D foam strips from Therm O Web to layered the frame over the background patterned paper. It’s hanging in the tree and I love it.
That is all from me. Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created.
I hope you play along.

I wanted to share two holiday gift ideas using our new Technique Tuesday stamps and dies.
The Ghirardelli box is very easy and a perfect little gift for that someone special.
I used Christmas Wishes stamp set, brand new, in the store. I stamped one of the circles and used a scalloped punch to punch it out. I stamped the ornament on a one inch circle that I cut with Circles - DIY Steel Dies. I colored the ornament with watercolor crayons. It is popped up with 3D foam adhesive from Therm O Web.
This adorable paper is from Elle’s Studio Good Cheer collection. I was able to fit 3 Ghirardelli Dark and Caramel Sea Salt, Chocolate Squares.
I used Christmas Wishes stamp set on this little gift card holder, as well. I stamped it and die cut it with Circles - DIY Steel Dies. The circle is just folded over the top of the Story Card - DIY Steel Die. I cut two story cards. One from white cardstock and one from patterned paper. I am using the new Pull Strip - DIY Steel Die that you can actually pull open to reveal a gift inside (gift card or money).
I stamped the pull strip and the front of the story card with Christmas Borders. To embellish the front I used Torn Spiral Edge - DIY Steel Die
Looking for a fun way to spruce up your holiday packages? Be sure to check out the New for 2014 page on the Technique Tuesday website. We've got a number of holiday stamps that are perfect to use for making accents to decorate holiday packages with.
