{ Bella BLVD & CardMaker Blog Hop }

Hi and welcome to Bella Blvd and CardMaker blog hop. Today we are showcasing cards and/or other paper-crafting projects made using the Illustrated Faith products.

Here is what I created. I love Shanna’s Favorite Paint Set and wanted to incorporate them into my card.

Hello by Daniela Dobson

I started with a sticker sheet that I cut down to the size of my card.

I added white gesso over the top. Then I added pink paint.

Once it was all dry I added my embellishments from Friendship Die Cuts.  I layered them using 3D foam squares. For the buterrfly I added paint to watercolor paper and stamped the butterfly from Fly Free stamp set with Black Eyed Pea ink. I fussy cut the butterfly and added some enamel hearts.

Here is one more look at the card. I love how vibrant the paints are. I can’t wait to use them again.

{ Last minute Christmas tags with Shimmerz Spritz }

Do you need a quick, last minute gift tag? Christmas is in two days!!! I have a solution. I didn't have any white tags so I made these by cutting some white cardstock, punching a hole and adding a white reinforcement label. You can find it at an office supply store.

I punched several 3/4" circles and arranged them randomly on the tags. I sprayed the tags with Olive Branch Shimmerz Spritz. Once the circles were removed I had this beautiful background. Next, I used Licorice Shimmerz Spritz to lightly spray over the tags. I embossed the bottom edge of the tags with embossing folder from Cuttlebug. I die cut stars from red felt, or you can trace a star on any shape that you like. I painted the white flowers with Mossy Stone Shimmerz paint. I added hemp cord, a little glittery pom pom and names of my friends stamped on the paper strips that I sprayed with Olive Branch Shimmerz Spritz.

Hi friends! I know my sweet girls are reading this...I hope you like them.

I ended up making these today! I did not have time to make my own marshmallows....one day. Quick and easy treat! Here is a photo from yesterday, before we went out. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I had a great day!! Alex helped me make the cupcakes and then he was practicing blowing out the candle. His birthday is in 3 weeks!

Are you ready for Christmas! I think I am. I just need to wrap presents. Have a great day!

***My Bella Blvd Designer Spotlight is up on the blog. Come and see. There will be more posts and photos all week :)

{ The Cutting Cafe' gift card holder }

I love this new template by The Cutting' Cafe!!!! The easiest gift card holder I have ever made. GIFT CARD AND MONEY HOLDER SET - TEMPLATE. In this set you get 2 gift card holders...one vertical, like the example here, and one horizontal with a nice cover. You can see a beautiful example that Tracy made here. Plus, you get a money holder and 20 different sentiments to use for any occasion, not just Christmas.

I just printed the template on white cardstock and cut it out. I covered the inside with patterned paper before adhering it all together. I used Martha Stewart punch to punch a border strip out of paper and then used a strip of paper and wrapped it all around the gift card holder. I wanted the back to look finished as well. All the papers are from the December Details collection by Bella Blvd.

I used 1" circle punch to punch an opening on the front. The circle sentiment is from Christmas Circle Set 2. I love that set, too. I added Prima flowers to the center and Martha Stewart baker's twine that I was finally able to find. Here are couple of my favorite note pads that I made. I used Making Memories Mistletoe collection paper for my base from My Scrapbook Nook December kit. I added some bright colors from Sweet Celebration collection by Bella Blvd. I loved the original design of these and I just changed the little details.

Somebody Is Going To Win A December Kit from My Scrapbook Nook!

Between now and Christmas upload your creations to our gallery and you will be entered to win a Free December kit!

Winner will be notified via Message Board pm.

Good luck!
