{ Peace Joy Love - Mixed Media Canvas }

I have a project on Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog today. I created this mixed media canvas. Step by step photos are on the blog HERE, including all the supplies. I hope you check it out.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut my own handwriting using iCraft sheets from Therm O Web and I added glitter over the top. I love it and can’t wait for Christmas decorations to go up.

{ The Play Date Café #155 and November Studio AE sneak peek }

Technique Tuesday is a sponsor for a challenge this week at The Play Date Café and it’s a color challenge.

Here is what I created.

I used a banner from Life Banners by Ali Edwards and heat embossed it on patterned paper. I used 3D Foam Squares to adhere it to the card. The clouds were created in Silhouette Studio and cut out with Silhouette Cameo on iCraft sheet from Therm O Web. I have been using these sheets all week now. You can see my post here where I used them to create the Trick or Treat art.

The iCraft sheets have adhesive on both sides. You peel off the backing, adhere to your project and peel off the top sheet. I have found a box of flocking powder that I wanted to use on a different project.  I added white flocking powder to these little clouds. Flocking is felt like material in powder form and I love it!!! Now I want all the colors. I see that Martha Stewart has a set of wonderful colors. I will be checking out Michaels this weekend with my coupon.

The little butterfly is form It’s OK by Ali Edwards stamp set. This card fits CAS-ual Fridays challenge #75 – over the edge.

Since I have you here, how about a little sneak peek from November Studio AE.

{ Scrapbook Circle October Kit–News Flash }

I love, love, love News Flash Kit from Scrapbook Circle this moth. My printer ink went out the day the kit arrived and I had just received a big order of photos from PostalPix. So yes, all of these have Instagram photos on them.

One of the challenges was to use triangles on a layout and this is what I came up with. I didn’t realize I loved triangles so much.

Cute Daniela Dobson

My favorite technique was to use my triangle template, created in Silhouette Studio, and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos.

On this layout I talked about creating a visual triangle using various embellishments. This kit comes with Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic Remarks Stickers, 8 pages of them. I used them to create that visual triangle on my page.

In my layout I created the two obvious visual triangles with the circles and the hearts.

Ok, one last one before I go. This one will go live on the Scrapbook Circle blog in the morning and it is created using Crate On Trend Border Stickers. Love them.

How is that for a total layout overload (and Instagram photos)? Have a great night!

P.S. The November kit is awesome and a full kit reveal will be on November 25! If you just can’t wait I have a sneak peek right now.

{ The Cameo Spotlight Challenge #6 }

Hi and welcome to The Cameo Spotlight Challenge #6: Halloween.
Here is my card.

Boo by Daniela Dobson

I used the files I shared yesterday for Free Cut Friday and they are still available for download. I cut the moon and the bat from iCraft Adhesive Sheets by Therm O Web and added glitter. For the spider web, I joined several of them together to make the border.

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you find time to join us this week!

Trick or treat frame Daniela Dobson

I cut the elements from iCraft Adhesive sheet by Therm O Web.

iCraft Adhesive is a strong, permanent adhesive with a easy-tear liner! I cut the design with my Silhouette Cameo using Silhouette setting for Double-sided adhesive. It cuts like butter.

Peel the backing and adhere to the background sticky side down.

Add glitter.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Halloween }

Hi and welcome to another Impression Obsession challenge.
Our next challenge starts today, October 18, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, October 24th, at 10 PM.

Create a new card using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between October 18 - 24. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my project. I did something different today. I made this 3D box and decorated it with Impression Obsession dies and stamps

I downloaded the box from Silhouette store and cut it out with my Cameo out of black cardstock. I decorated each section with patterned paper. I used Halloween Hill die and 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web to decorate the box.

I die cut the Halloween Hill from American Crafts chalkboard paper. Once the box was complete I sprayed everything with Iridescent Glitter Dust by Therm O Web.

I designed the spider web is Silhouette Studio and cut it out with my Cameo.

{ Anything But A Card Challenge #4 }

I fell in love with these little pumpkins and thought I would give them a try. I don’t have that many fall decorations and I thought these would be perfect. Amy provided a pdf download for the templates. I was too lazy to print, so I just made my own template out of cardboard. I traced that on the back of my fabric and went to work. Like she says, these are really easy and I love how they turned out.

I bought the fabric at Hobby Lobby. I added cinnamon sticks, with a ribbon bow, for the stems and some leaves from a silk fall garland I had.

I hope you can join us in this challenge. It’s pretty easy since you can make anything (but a card).

{ CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #1 }

My team member Jackie started a new challenge blog called CAS(E) this Sketch! I loved the sketch for this first challenge and I thought I would give it a try. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I am not clean and simple, at all. This was really a challenge. I like to pile things on my cards.

I hope this will work and I won’t get disqualified, LOL. Jackie, go easy on me. I ended up making two cards.

This first one I created using My Mind’s Eye The Sweetest Thing collection. If you missed my review and my projects you can see them on The Scrap Review blog.
I started with two strips of washi tape. Punched circles with a punch (I know, I didn’t use my Cameo – shocked!). I stitched the circles with my sewing machine and added the layered sticker embellishment. I stamped my sentiment and added the enamel dots, that I love.

This card fits perfectly for My Mind’s Eye October challenge, to incorporate stamps into a project and Simon Says ,,,,, DIES and/or PUNCHES challenge.

This next card uses brand new December Daily stamp set by Ali Edwards for Technique Tuesday. This will be available in Studio Calico December Daily kit.

For this card I used tape again, it’s not washi, but clear tape that I picked up at Target or Walmart. I used two different stamps, one above and one below the tape. The flower is from an old holiday set from Making Memories. Then I stamped the little greater-than sign, or arrow part, not sure what to call it, on white cardstock. I cut the strips and tucked them under the flower.

That is all from me today. Have a great Sunday!
