{ June 2015 Memory Keepers Studio by Technique Tuesday }

It’s time for June release of Memory Keepers Studio- Oh Happy Day and Fresh Cut Studio – Happy Butterfly. This stamp set is shipping June 15. If you are not a member of Memory Keepers Studio come and see how you can sign up --->>> HERE.

Here is a card I created using the stamps and dies.

How beautiful is that butterfly? Love this set. I used a mixture of my favorite colors. I layered several different elements including Label - DIY Steel Die (which I use on pretty much everything) and Circles - DIY Steel Dies. The vellum backing on the butterfly I traced around the die and cut it out by hand.

Come check  out the new stamps and see what else is NEW for June.

{ Free cut Friday and Christmas cards }

I haven’t shared any freebies in a long time. Why? I don’t know. I have plenty to share. Today I have these that I made the other day. These are perfect size for those project life pockets or any pocket. These are Studio files, just click on the photo to download. Don’t forget my other free files ----> HERE. Let me know if there is something you need or want and I can make it for you.

If you are looking for last minute Christmas cards I have a few to share that I created for Technique Tuesday.

I embossed the stamp with green, sparkly embossing powder after I stamped it on vellum. I used Season's Greetings stamp.

Here is one more where I got the look by cutting a Story Card base (with the Story Card DIY steel die) from cardstock and then painting it with chalkboard paint. I stamped on top with stamps from the Merry Christmas stamp set.

{ Free Cut Friday and a catch up post }

I know today is Saturday, but my plan for yesterday did not work out.

We got back from our family trip to Croatia on Wednesday. Alex starts Kindergarten on Monday, and he got to meet his teacher Thursday night. There will be lots of crying Monday morning.

The supplies I took with me to scrapbook, on the plane, and while there, did not happen. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, I posted this photo. I didn’t touch a single item while I was there. There was not enough time. We stayed up late and slept in. Our days were filled with visiting family, eating, and drinking. Alex played with his 6 cousins.

I did use my Instax. It was definitively trial and error, just like I read. Most of the photos turned out great, others did not. They were dark or overexposed, and you do not take close ups with the Instax.

Now, for the Free Cut Friday. I created these two cards and they are up on The Scrap Review blog for download or you can download the file by clicking on the photo. These are perfect for project life pockets.

My back to school project I created for Therm O Web uses another Silhouette cut file I created in Silhouette Studio. You can find a step by step tutorial with photos on Therm O Web blog. I used a perfect stamp set called I Love School by Ali Edwards from Technique Tuesday. The stars and the banner are from Seal Companion – Star by Technique Tuesday.

Do you remember me mentioning that Technique Tuesday offers Digital Cut Files?

Wondering just how our digital die lines work with Technique Tuesday stamps?

Wendy Sue Anderson is set to give you the scoop! Check out her post on the Create blog from Northridge Publishing. We think it's super fun!

Not just is Wendy Sue sharing a super cute card made with our Banner Up stamp set and Banner Up Digital Die Lines, but she is also showing how she cut the die lines out with her digital die-cutting machine and stamped on them!

In addition, this year marks the 10-year anniversary of Technique Tuesday, and that means we are bringing back some our popular stamp sets from the past!

One of them is called Everyday Words by Ali Edwards.

Here is a layout I created with the set. I used some fun new goodies from Emma’s Paperie, Elle’s Studio and Heidi Swapp (butterfly mask). There are some beautiful samples created with this stamp set on the Technique Tuesday blog.

Another set is called Simple Sentiments.

Here is my card created with this set. Our DT made some wonderful creations that you can see on our Technique Tuesday blog.

{ Free cut Friday }

Hello and happy Friday! I have several things to share with you today. Let’s start with a free file. This one is available for download on The Scrap Review blog or right below.

I duplicated the star several times and resized several so I can layer them.  I added a stapler to hold them together. They are sprayed with color mists.

I used a new set from Technique Tuesday called Banner Up. I stamped and cut the banners and I added the star border. The sentiment is from Awesome stamp set.

We are featuring watercolor crayons on or Technique Tuesday blog this week. Go over and check out all the beautiful creations and some wonderful watercolor crayon techniques. You can see them HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.

Here is a card I created using watercolor crayons.

Hugs by Daniela Dobson

I used four watercolor crayons (Grass Green, Ruby Red, Turquoise and Golden Yellow) to create the pretty stripes here. I applied color to the top of the watercolor paper panel and then used a waterbrush to drag the color down.

I stamped the journaling box from From the Heart by Ali Edwards right on top.

For the heart, I stamped the journaling box on watercolor paper and heat embossed polka dots from Passion for Polka over the top with clear embossing powder. I cut the heart out and then added color with a crayon.

Have a great Friday!
