{ 2 Sketches 4 You, CardPatterns #5, Project 365 - week 10 }

This week I am participating in a new challenge called Use It! My dear friend, Rae Barthel, is posting a challenge every Monday to use our growing stash.

I used Laura's sketch #21 to make this card. My favorite paper, from my stash, is American Crafts. I bought it at a convention last summer. It has not been touched. It is so pretty just to look at. Ribbon is old, too, I don't even know who makes it. The flower came from another sheet of American Crafts paper that I had in my stash. I used a pencil to lightly draw the flower and I erased any visible lines after I cut it out. I stamped the center of my flower with a new stamp set from Papertrey Ink that I won couple of weeks ago in a blog hop, never been used. The leaves stamp is from Close To My Heart. A sweet friend, Maria, sent them to me, along with some other awesome goodies. If you want to use up some of your stash pile then go check out Rae's Use It!

This card is for CardPatterns: Sketch #5. I used Graphic 45 patterned paper, Jenni Bowlin jewels and chip buttons that I turned over and stamped.

Project 365 - week 10.

3.2 - Alex trying to escape.

3.3 - Alex playing in his pajamas. 3.4 - we finally opened a savings account for Alex. 3.5 - Alex is holding his own cup (no lid) with a straw to drink. This started today. 3.6 - Alex is having his afternoon snack. No bottle. He did fine. 3.7 - today he wanted to drink out of the cup, no straw. He did awesome. Now he wants to drink out of everything. 3.8 - daddy and Alex went for a walk. It was 83 degrees.

This was going to be a good luck card and it did not work out, so I went with green! I love this new paper by Graphic 45. I came up with one more, last minute, project that would fit the theme, but I didn't get to finish. I will post it another time.

I used Solid Florals stamp set for my background, heat embossed. I keep grabbing this set over and over. I just love it. The sentiment and the flower branch are from the new Sarah Phelps set, Mother's Day. I stamped The Floral Birdcage, colored with watercolor pencils, and cut out. I know that Birdcages are a trend right now in scrapbooking and card making. Take a look at some of these Birdcages.

{ 2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's sketch 21, CPS 105, Project 365 - Week 9 }

Here is my card for Kazan's sketch. I have been trying to use my stash as much as I can. Making Memories journaling notes have been here for a while. I stamped little flowers on the bottom. This Spring Bloom clear set and Butterfly Wishes from Impression Obsession are my first ever clear stamp sets that I bought. I think it was at a stamp show many years ago. The little butterfly border is from Spring/Summer border set, so cute. The circle sentiment is from Word Circles. The patterned paper is Imaginisce from Fairest Of Them All collection. I used Cuttlebug embossing folder for my white strip.

This is my card for CPS 105. I have been playing with Papertrey Ink bitty dots paper...it comes in many different colors. The pink patterned paper is from Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. The 6x6 paper pad I received from Embellish-Online is lasting a long time and I made so many cards and projects. Heidi Swapp journaling note, American Crafts ribbon and Basic Grey button.

Project 365 - week 9.

2.23 - Alex has finally mastered climbing on the couch. He loves to lounge on top of my things. Here, he is having a snack. 2.24 - not sure what is going on here. He went for a walk with daddy. Maybe he is trying to get back into his wagon. 2.25 - out for lunch at a Sushi restaurant. 2.26 - he loves to take stuff out of the pantry, especially now that he can reach the bottom shelf. He found this wine container and carried it all the way upstairs. 2.27 - reading a book before bed. 2.28 - I was trying all day to take a photo of his cute, monkey outfit, and I did, but I loved this photo. Just before dinner. 3.1 - Yes, he is so happy, he mastered a different couch.

{ CupCards{to go} March kit - Magic Moments }

Here are the cards I created with March kit - Magic Moments. The main kit is sold out, but you can still get the mini kit. On this first card I used the stamp that came with February kit...I love that. The goodie bag came with Scenic Route chipboard buttons and windows. I covered the window with Stickles that comes in the kit. I had to let it dry for a while, but I love the way it looks.
