{ CR84FN Color Challenge 18 }

How fun are these colors for CR84FN18: Orange, Yellow and Kraft! So fun that I had to play again.

For this cards I used my Impression Obsession stamps.

I stamped the background with Cover-a-card Script CC050 in Pumpkin Pie. I added a little crepe paper ruffle to a strip of pretty patterned paper that I was using as a scrap sheet...I turned it over and it was this beautiful yellow pattern. A really old Die Cuts With A View. The crepe paper streamer is sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

I stamped Cover-a-card Roses CC043 on cardstock and stamped only the outline of the journaling stamp from Journaling I WP165 over that. I used a marker to ink only the edges. When I don't have a marker in the color I want, I just use an ink pad and then I use a towel to wipe the lines inside. See below for photos of this stamp.

 I cut out the journaling spot and added a sentiment from Thanks Sentiments CL41. 

I used foam adhesive to adhere it to the card. The orange ribbon and yellow flower are from Prima.

{ Inspired Blueprints Sketch #67 }

Here is a little layout I made for Inspired Blueprints Sketch #67. I loved the sketch and had this photo of Alex laying around that fit perfectly. It's a photo of him making a card for his grandma's birthday last summer. He is often here in my room making something.

I used My Mind's Eye Stella Rose collection. Love the paper colors and doily stamps. The adorable pin is from Create Often and I used Elle's Studio new journal tag and pennant.

I just stamp the doilies on cardstock and cut them out. Here, I stamped only one and cut it half.

I other news, I finally used my crock pot! I had it for 20 years. Can you believe it. I am making Cajun-seasoned chicken and my house smells divine. If you have any recipes to share, please do.

{ Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: An Idea in Yellow }

Hello on a Saturday night. It is pretty quiet around here and the wind outside has finally calmed down. 

I fell in love with Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger and I couldn't wait to make something. Today I took just a moment to create this quick and easy card.

I used Impression Obsession stamps that I had on my desk for something else. Circle Elements #1 HS191, I wish for you CL227 and Butterfly Bliss CL171. A scrap of patterned paper from Stella Rose and a beautiful Prima flower from Trinket Collection Sparkling.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge - blue }

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. We have challenges every other week - DETAILS HERE - if you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my blue card. I am using SCS sketch #322 for this card.

My card base is stamped with Cover-a-card Distressed Corduroy CC047.  I stamped Flourish 1 F5549 on white cardstock and added little jewels. I adhered some lace and rick rick to the top and bottom edge. I stamped two Dot Tag Small E8511 and tucked it behind the main image. I added a little bow that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The sentiment is from All Occasion II CL307 stamp set.

{ Altered tin Prima style and Live with Prima }

I wanted to share a little tin bucket that I made for Prima for CHA Winter 2011. I wish I can remember where I got the little tin container so I can make another one. Perfect to hang and hold little trinkets and treasures.
