{ Reverse Confetti - Release Blog Hop }

Happy birthday by Daniela Dobson

Welcome to the REVERSE CONFETTI New Release Blog hop! Could it be November already? With this month’s new release from REVERSE CONFETTI, it’ll be a snap to get a jump start on those holiday cards and projects (yep, Christmas is just around the corner!). Lucky for you, it’s the 8th of the month, and we’ve got some inspiration to get you going with that very thing! Come and hop along with the Confetti Crew as we share some creative ideas using all the new products from REVERSE CONFETTI, including five new trendy stamp sets and introducing CONFETTI CUTS. That’s right, we now carry steel dies, and there are 2 sets to choose from this month. Along with the Confetti Crew and our new CHALLENGE Crew, we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action! Let’s go!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Amber Hight’s blog.

It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!

My card today features the fabulous new set called Lots to Say and So Stripey.

I stamped a Kraft piece of paper with bold stripes from the set and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I punched a scalloped edge from the paper and adhered it under the tag.

For the sentiment I used a thick stipe from the So Stripey set, stamped it with turquoise ink and cut tails in each end.

Happy birthday close by Daniela Dobson

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration!

Now it’s time to hop on over to Amy Kolling’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…

November’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along. Click HERE for a chance to win. AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge we will be introducing on November 16th and another way to win!

Celebrate the creative side of you!

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Holiday Cards, Tags Gifts }

***This is my second blog post for the day. My Reverse Confetti sneak peek is in the post below.***

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Holiday Cards, Tags Gifts .

Our challenge starts today, November 7, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, November 13, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between November 7 - 13. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

I made some tags.

Season's Greetings tags by Daniela Dobson

Each tag is stamped with cover-a-card Screen. I added stars from Christmas Trees stamp set in gold and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. The trees are die cut and stamped with this new Hero Arts ink I got from Emma’s Paperie, love it. Aren’t those trees adorable?

I added a strip of patterned paper to the bottom of the tag, added the die cut and stamped tree using 3D foam squares. A strip of washi tape I got recently from Lawn Fawn is at the top. To finish it off, I die cut the snowflakes from glitter paper and added them to the washi tape with some jewels. The sentiment is from Christmas Trees stamp set.

That is all from me. Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created. I hope you play along.

Just a note by Daniela Dobson

I stamped the sentiment on a chalk label and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I adhered the label with 3D foam adhesive. The felt flowers are die cut and I added a button and twine to the centers.  The second sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on a piece of Kraft cardstock that I painted with chalkboard paint.

{ November Studio AE }

If you are looking for my November Sketch For You To Try you can find it in the post below.

November Studio AE is called Relative Banners - Studio AE November 2013.

Daughter by Daniela Dobson

This set consists of 21 clear stamps on a 4" x 6" storage sheet.

The holidays and everyday life are often filled with memories of time spent with family. Relative Banners will help you label the loved ones in your photos. You can also get creative with the stamps in this set and use them to make custom gift tags, place cards and greeting cards.

Are you a fan of die-cutting? If so, you may want to consider getting our DIY Banners steel die set to use with this stamp set. The Relative Banners stamps work swell with the dies.

Have a great weekend!

{ November Sketch For You To Try }

Hi and welcome to my first sketch challenge as a part of the Reverse Confetti challenge crew. If you missed the exciting announcement you can read all about it HERE.

Here is my card.

Thanks so much by Daniela Dobson

I know, lots of things going on here, but I love it. I started by heat embossing the glassine bag with polka dots from Whole Lotta Dots stamp set. I love sketches and they can be interpreted in so many different ways. There might be some super sneak peeks going on here, but be on a lookout on November 5, for the real release/sneak peeks.

I used ribbon, glassine bag, and a border strip for all the different elements of the sketch. The pink flower had a different center that I cut off and added that pretty brad that matched everything perfectly. The pin is something I had in my stash for a very long time. I tucked some stamped strips in the glassine bag, but it can be used for a gift card, or message strips.

Thanks so much close by Daniela Dobson

If you would like to play along, and I hope you do, here is the sketch. Click on the photo and it will take you to the Reverse Confetti blog where you can find a full list of participants.
